It's so artificial and annoying. I wonder what the REAL Lisa is like.
RICH and INDULGED
Don't forget all the kisses too. I think that is totally inappropriate in a "business" setting. Now the men are kissing vendors too. Waste of time and way too awkward on live TV especially since they have probably already greeted each other before going on TV.

I'm not a fan of Lisa....she is a beautiful woman... yet she spends so much time looking at herself in the monitor....It's odd to see her so self conscious after so many years doing these shows...

MaxieMoo:
I couldn't have said it better myself! Lisa is in love with Lisa. She talks too much and has to have her hand in every shot the camera zeros in. Doesn't she get that every time she looks in to the monitor it just confirms how obsessed she is with her looks and makes her so self absorbed?

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks."
Hamlet Act 3, Scene 2 (Shakespeare)
To "protest too much" is to insist so passionately about something that people suspect the opposite of what you are saying.
Do I detect a bit of jealousy in some of these posts?????

Oh, thank you so much for the explanation! Of course, you are the only person to have ever studied Shakespeare, and the rest of us could never have figured out what the quoted passage meant!! Thank you!!
And please, please stop with the jealousy comments. No, we are not jealous of Lisa. I wouldn't exchange her life for mine for any amount of money. Lisa evokes strong feelings, good or bad, in some people. This board is a place to express feelings without someone else putting a label on them.

You're welcome--actually I never studied Shakespeare, I just happen to know the quote. I was just making a point, and I'm sure no one would admit to it if they did have a tinge of envy. To each his own, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Have a nice day!

Regardless of what they say, I think there is some jealousy there. If you don't like a host, can't stand to watch her, then why watch her and report on everything she says or does? There are a couple hosts I don't care for, but I would never come on these boards and tear them apart. I simply don't watch them! As far as just stating an opinion, picking and picking at a host is not giving an opinion, it is simply bashing!!
