Was watching Gourmet Holiday on QVC2 and noticed the weird format of the show for the past 30 minutes.
Nancy Yoon was sitting down the entire time and every single guest has been on Skype or Zoom in the two boxes. Is something wrong with her health, etc -- that is preventing live guests, etc?

Maybe she's tired.

@FireFrost4520 - Welcome to the forums! The shows on QVC2 almost never have in-studio presentations when food is involved, and the hosts rarely even have samples on set. This approach has been in place for the past few years, and hosts often sit at a table and engage with the vendors over Skype as you've described. I don't want to make assumptions about Nancy's health, but I'd presume she's fine since this is the normal way things are handled.

@FireFrost4520. Don't you know QVC hosts do and say exactly as they please, apparent with no supervision?

The Q has too few petites. What I really hate is when the petite model is sitting down for a long time. Hey, I want to see how those pants are fitting you!

QVC2 has been this way for years.
Most of the shows are Skyped in.
Many shows don't have a QVC host, the vendor rep does the show alone from Skype.
We've been told by hosts on there that it's a smaller set, one camera person, no models, etc.
Back when Mary was still doing the kitchen show on Saturdays she would be seated at a table or standing behind a counter while the guest was Skyped in.
There were many comments here and on Facebook asking if Mary was ill.
She herself commented on it on FB, reiterating that it was the small set, etc., yada yada yada.
When David did shows on QVC2, he too was seated or just standing in one spot the whole show talking to a rep via Skype.
Nothing new to see here.
In fact, Nancy had a Halo show the hour before and was up and moving around because the on air guest was in the studio.
It's a cheap set up for the Q.
Less viewers for QVC2 so they don't put much production value into, nor do they need to.

On a different note, Nancy looks good in glasses. I've never seen her wear them before.

What difference does it make?

It's not odd at all. In fact, it's the norm.
Q2 rarely has on set guests, particularly for food and kitchen shows.
Being seated makes perfect, practical sense. She's basically interviewing a guest via Skype, not modeling or displaying garments on a rack.
