Lisa is much like a Kardashian clone...... she loves the limelight, she loves to be talked about and needs the attention... selfies, etc..... She also puts herself out there and then when she gets a weirdo stalking her.... acts like she is surprised.... but she is not. It is all the Kardashian effect.... I think she loves the attention whether it be good or bad.

Actually, I don't think she wants the bad; unfortunately, it comes with the good. You can't have it both ways.

So you start yet another thread about her?

That is 100% what the dynamic is. They get to be "friends with" her and be part of her clique (though most of them would call it her click), and if being "allowed" to do that means helping to support her financially by buying her stuff, they're all in.

I am a relatively new poster but have been visited the forum's for over a year I have to say that I have noticed a rather peculiar obsession with Lisa Robertson and her past on the Q in addition to her present life. I find it odd and not helpful to compare her to hosts because she is no longer working at QVC and commenting on her or wishing her return seems absurd at this point"Peculiar obsession" ???? I'm here most every day and I can't say I've noticed that. There are those that like Lisa and follow her on FB. I don't find it "odd" at all that they would do that.
I have, but the peculiar obsession part is really a very, very small number of people and they don't post about Lisa all the time. There's one person whose name I don't recall that I think definitely has a peculiar obsession.
More of the people who post about Lisa are just fans and I don't think it's at all strange that the post about her. The vast majority of the people here don't seem to mention her at all.

I don't believe she's a clone. You seem to be mistaking the fact that they both have similar jobs with being a clone. That's silly.
Kim sells her brand, Lisa sells hers. That's how she makes money. She needs the attention because that's her JOB. I don't know why so many people confuse that with who she is as a person.

@QVCkitty1 ITA. Why in the world would anyone open a thread that is of no interest to them when the title plainly states what it's about?

If she still has fans, fine. But, I do not understand why there has to be anymore discussions about a long gone past hosts here, she HAS been gone quite sometime now. She may crave attention, fine. Is that not why she has a facebook page?
And, don't say ... well, you do not need to read the posts then... trust me I don't, I just shake my head every time I see a new post about her and find it unbelievable that grown women obsess over her so much.
@CAMOGIRL The OP is starting this thread not the LR followers. So, I think she is the one looking for attention.
I enjoyed watching LR's Christmas shows and a few others but I am not a follower. I just don't understand why people who claim to be bothered by the threads about her keep starting them. ![]()

@lucymo I agree, they say they aren't interested, but can't wait to talk about it.

Plus it sort of defeats the OP's purpose--complaining about all the Lisa threads by starting yet another thread about her??? Seems like ignoring a topic/refraining to comment would be the best way to get it to blow over. Commenting, especially in a negative way, just seems to fan the flames.
