Observation about LR discussed

I am a relatively new poster but have been visited the forum's for over a year I have to say that I have noticed a rather peculiar obsession with Lisa Robertson and her past on the Q in addition to her present life. I find it odd and not helpful to compare her to hosts because she is no longer working at QVC and commenting on her or wishing her return seems absurd at this point

Lisa always had a loyal fan base as a host. Since she "retired", they've become rabid, and she seems to do everything possible to encourage them. They are after all, potential customers and have money. She also seems to require a certain measure of adoration.

Agree. She was a good salesperson, but that's all. She's retired. End of story. Good luck to her!

"Peculiar obsession" ???? I'm here most every day and I can't say I've noticed that. There are those that like Lisa and follow her on FB. I don't find it "odd" at all that they would do that.

It's ironic that you are so new to the forum and have a peculiar obsession with posts about Lisa and her past at the Q that you have thought enough about Lisa to create a brand new post about her demonstrates your interest in what others think about her shows that maybe there is something for posters to talk about and that's a good thing.

Lisa was a very popular host! She does have a new business which had some lovely pieces and she does interviews with many current vendors--and these interviews have been particularyl inspiring to me. You may want to reserve harsh judgement of her fans until you have had the opportunity to listen to some of them.

Lisa R was very good at her job at QVC and I enjoyed her as a host. She knew how to create excitement about products like no other. The seasoned professionals like Jill Bauer, Rick Domier, Jane Treacy, Mary Beth Roe as well as Lisa R are all seasoned smooth showrunners. But I totally understand that after 25 years, Lisa R probably wanted a change. Being single she was in a position to try something entrepreneurial. I wish her much success in her new endeavor.

I agree. I'd also suggest that if discussion of her is off-putting, there's really nothing compelling anyone to open, much less start, threads about her.
