Hi Everyone,
I've already talked with, emailed with QVC CS at great length about this incredible mystery ugh ~ was just wondering, has anyone else run into inquiring about an older purchase and got told by QVC CS / Social Team that they searched and searched and there was no record on your account of the purchase??
I purchased a Simple Human Sensor trash can from when I saw it on ITKWD possibly 2 years ago, know for an absolute fact I did indeed receive it from QVC, still have the original shipping box it came in, but sadly lost track of my invoice and was wanting it for warranty information ~ This is so bizarre, never in the 25+ years I've been shopping with QVC have I ever had this happen ~ just in CASE, I *possibly* bought it from HSN (But KNOW it was QVC! Memory is very strong of it lol!) I called their CS and no, no record of it there.
I was doing absolutely NO shopping other than online or running to the drug store in 2020 - never bought it on Amazon either, checked that as well - but the main point is, I have EVERY reason to know it was from QVC!
Just the shipping box alone cinches it lol!
This is so strange and frustrating, has anyone else had this? Wondering if it's some sort of glitch in their system?
They did confirm that they are able to see purchases way back for years, so that's not the problem!

@DooneyGal2 - Make sure you/they are trying allll kinds of different variations of the product name; the QVC search functions on the customer side as well as the back end are almost useless. I've experienced several situations in which I wanted to search for a product I'd purchased a couple years ago to compare features and pricing, but nothing yielded any results. So I took the time to ever-so-slowly click through page after page of orders and finally did find what I was looking for—in one case, it turned out there was a typo in the product listing title, so of course no search results found it. Sigh.
Now, even though it has been a pain in the keister, I've created my own file that provides the order number, item number, price, and details of what I purchased so I'll always have accurate records. I wish you luck in tracking down your order!
ETA: Do you happen to keep your order confirmation emails? Since there's virtually unlimited storage on my email account, I have an "Orders" folder crammed full of 'em, and that has also helped me track things in the past.

No, I had an electric toothbrush quit while under warranty, about 2 years after I bought it. The mods were able to find the original record and it was replaced by the manufacturer. Probably best to keep your own records on appliances.

You don't need Q for that. Call Simple Human directly for warranty info. I gather you didn't register w/them when you received the trash can?

@DooneyGal2 are there any product labels on the box? Maybe that's a dumb question because you would have mentioned it, but often merchandise I get that comes in a box from the manufacturer has a small paper label on the side with a QVC item number.

@loriqvc sadly my Yahoo! search only took me through the end of 2021, it doesn't seem to go back any further total bummer ugh. Thanks so much for that idea, almost thought it could work lol! This whole thing is so puzzling lol!
BTW for those that asked, I don't believe I registered with Simple Human unfortunately- it was very early in the pandemic and I had so much going on, didn't think to do that I could kick myself!
I have usually taken care to do that in the past, definitely did with all my Dyson purchases thankfully!!
There aren't any labels fully left on the box, partly due to how David V has stressed in the past on his DHWD shows the huge importance of removing those labels when possibly throwing out something for the garbage due to identity theft, have always taken that to heart! Oh well might stop doing that lol!

Order History is NOT complete after about 1 yr I have found and it certainly will not go back far enough for Limited Lifetime warranties!!!
I had L&L purchases that CS nor Mods could find record of....I only shop here.
I agree with @Kachina624 anything that is with warranty, I make SURE to keep my receipts.

Anything with a warranty
You can not trust Order History to stay complete....and CS won't be able to find it either.

I also bought the trash can in January 2020. I entered Simplehuman in the search bar of order status and was able to find the item. It says it has a 5 year warranty. You can only enter one word in the search bar. Either enter Simplehuman as one word or just enter simple. I hope this helps. It's possible your item won't be there. I've noticed that not all my purchases older than one year can be found.
