Re: No QVC Ruined Christmas posts, OK?

I understand transit delays but what is the excuse for a Valerie Par Hill advanced order wreath ordered in July for a week of 12/4 ship date to not ship out until 12/10 ?  The wreath finally arrived on 12/12.. QVC needs to fix their shipping problems. They are nowhere on par with Amazon.

Courtney spent all Monday night repeating it was the last day to get before Christmas without paying more.  It's Friday and they are still promising. She really needs to attend the meetings.

Well that blows up my theory on the processing delays being dependent on where it ships from.  QVC has warehouses all over the place Something shipped from NC (always beauty products) arrived as expected but something coming from CA was ordered on Cyber Monday and didn't ship till 12/12 (still waiting on that one, that was my personal cut off to order for delivery).

I think we are all looking for some rhyme or reason to it all.  lol

Re: No QVC Ruined Christmas posts, OK?

People have a right to be upset when they're sold a bill of goods (i.e. shipping time) and it doesn't happen.  Obviously, this year is a mess but it's not like this isn't an annual issue.

The biggest issue, for which QVC deserves the bashing and complaints, is that they aren't at all transparent about what's going on.  That's one thing the big A has down, and every online retailer would be wise to follow suit.  So yes, when someone clicks 'buy' with the full expectation of delivery as promised, it's disappointing when it falls through.  When the vendor doesn't communicate about what's happening, the complaints are warranted.  To your QVC forum lifers dictating other people's emotions and responses from your sofa, they have just as much a right to post as you, no matter what your contribution rank is.  Start your own message board if you don't like it.

Nor are their replies to complaints very satisfying. Yeah.yeah, I know no ruined posts, but aren't we allowed to complain?

Re: No QVC Ruined Christmas posts, OK?

I agree people have a right to complain about anything they want - especially a broken promise by QVC. Yes, many of us might think it’s naive to actually be depending on the “guaranteed by Christmas” assurance with all the known delivery issues in the country. However QVC had been continually touting it on so many items. Some people - for whatever reason - may not have shopped earlier and QVC’s guarantee y Christmas might be a huge relief to them and so they are counting on it. If QVC doesn’t come through then the customer has every right to complain. The customer is making his/her contract with QVC, not with UPS or the post office or anyone else.

If you placed an advanced order with the Q and was promised a ship date early in the month of December and it wasn’t shipped you have every right to be upset with the Vendor and the Q who hired them. If these were Christmas gifts now your stuck with shopping at that is after you figure out what to get and probably spending more money! By their complaining you know who to avoid doing business with next year. Most vendors On the Q are dependable and reliable.

Re: No QVC Ruined Christmas posts, OK?

I ordered an iPad on 11/21 , stated it would ship on 11/30. It has been processing for weeks. I have contacted QVC twice and the first time was informed the vendor ships that product to the customers. I will open an inquiry for you. No response yet. I emailed the Social team and am awaiting a response. But on qvc it says the item is no longer available so we will see if this order ever comes to fruition. Luckily for me it is my Christmas present from my husband and certainly my Christmas will not be ruined.
