No QVC Ruined Christmas posts, OK?

If you are a regular poster on this board you know shipping has many delays, especially through the UPS - Post Office combination.  Hopefully you have your shopping done and you are not relying on last minute gifts to show up on time.  For the jewelry show tomorrow, I'm hoping they are using Priority Mail, which the PO claims has not been affected by slowdowns.

That's a fair request.  At any rate, most gift recipients will understand the year has been a mess and won't mind if their presents are a week or two late.

And also that all these companies employ humans just like use that struggle with these pandemic times during a holiday rush. One that has never been seen.

Got a message from post office this morning that they are doing their best with overwhelming deliveries due to online ordering and employees out with Co-vid19.It could easy be our family member.

There is a reason for December 25 but you can pick any day to receive presents.JMO.

Take care & be safe.

I had my shopping done very early this year....made it so stress-free, that my plan going forward is to have any purchases made by October.

You're correct!

And the fact that QVC started their Christmas programming in June, there is no excuse not to have your gift(s) on time.

Every Christmas there seems to be at least one post about someone not getting their packages delivered by Christmas as promised and thus their holiday was ruined. Then they usually get criticized for a variety of reasons. (I’ve been on these boards for too long LOL).

And the usual "QVC ruined my Christmas" threads are normally from new, or relatively new, posters/customers.

So I'm sure there will be some.

All things ordered has been received for me.  Some are not for Christmas either.

I shop early every year and I do not care to do everything all at once.  This year has been especially off.

Gifts sent to family have all been received.  All is  good.
