Fast talker - I can only imagine how fast she can go when she's been there a while. Loud talker, too.

Hi..I saw that show, too..d&c?..Mary kind of inserted here&there..and looked as though she knew the show was a train wreck..and Alex for whatever reason, went overboard on every item....the "like" and the "ya know" and the "bomb dot com" was crazy..I hope someone showed her the video..

@J-Low  -  She says, "bomb dot com?"  What is the point of that???  I've never seen the entirety of one of her shows, so I've never heard it.

I agree with hosts, or vendors, who speak too loud.  Turning the sound down dosn't really work because then you can't hear what the other person says.  I don't want to feel like I'm being yelled at in my own home!  Amy Stan talks too loud, and fast often, as well.  I just change the channel.  When will QVC learn that nobody wants to feel like they are being yelled at in their own home.  There are too many other things to watch, rather than endure that kind of insult!

I don't know who these new hosts are - as I always say "they all look alike to me". But -- reading these posts made me Laugh Out Loud!!!!!!!!! Thanks Woman Surprised

Q seems to be hiring really young gals. They seem to be about 18 to 25....all seem short/petite.... I'm not sure what the business aspect of this is.....most of the hosts are fairly short (past and present/male and female). Even vendors too.

That's because the average height of females in the US is 5ft.4, and males 5ft10. Maybe these gals had something to offer besides being tall.

It seems to me like they  are trying to appeal to a younger audience,  I don't think the younger demographic shops on QVC and I don't think adding new "hipper" hosts will change that. It seems like the QVC customer is more mature and probably put off by some of the new hosts, I have seen Alex a few times and agree she is difficult to watch .

I believe when Jill Bauer came to QVC she was around 28.  She has always been very mature in actions and is always well-prepared for her shows.  Never too silly --always acts professional.   New hosts and some that aren't so new now could take a lesson from Jill.

I've watched her a couple of times including this morning........she was showing jewelry with a vendor guest......she's not very good at this point.
