Re: Nancy Sitting on the Rugs

Sitting on a rug to help sales is fine.  Maybe she was more comfortable doing that than crouching for a length of time.

Re: Nancy Sitting on the Rugs

Nancy hasn't been told anything, I believe, as she is still making these mistakes. I would have hoped at least she would stop talking about her own size and what she wants to buy, or how she's bought three of whatever she's showing. Her "anger" when somehting in her size is sold out is just too much...

Nancy isn't the only host that says she bought three of everything. Other hosts say the same thing. Some hosts who have been at QVC for years still haven't learned from their mistakes.

She’s learning. She’s not looking for “a knight in shinning armor”. She’s a married lady. It would be nice if we were perfect when we start a new job. Sitting on the rug is very natural & acceptable in some cultures & fine when selling a rug; she wasn’t selling jeans.

Nancy Yoon is a very nice young woman.  I see no issues with her hosting ability.  She's fairly new at it and when I've seen her, she does as well or better than many who have been hosting for years.

She even appears rather shy at this point.  I hope the Q doesn't ruin her.  ha! Cat LOL

I notice hosts sitting on the floor. Why? Is'nt selling a product a stand up job?

Things can change to much, they can lose the quality of presentation with to much relax and laid back.

I agree, @kindred cats, Nancy is far better than most of the new hosts. I think she's very likeable and is trying very hard. She obviously loves fashion and has a nice way of selling.

I also hope the Q doesn't mess her up.

Re: Nancy Sitting on the Rugs

Sitting on the floor has never been a problem for me. It's getting up off of the floor that raises some issues. I no longer laugh at the elderly folk in the "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up" commercial. I can also hear my Dad's words " You just wait until you get older" echoing in my ears.

Can't remember who coined the phrase " Old age isn't for sissies."

Re: Nancy Sitting on the Rugs

🎉  Nancy is a breath of fresh air at the Q. I dont understand why anyone would have a problem with Nancy sitting on the floor while presenting a rug, but it's okay for Shawn to sit on the floor in her tight pajamas, goofy glasses, and hair hanging in her face while she's holding (and drinking) a glass of wine?

The quality of the presentation is lost when the show hosts literally jump up and down waving their hands in the air like children, or strut around the set while pretending to be models, or talking endlessly about themselves and their personal lives, and barely mention what they are presenting.

I love Nancy's enthusiasm, and her sense of style. It's so refreshing to see a host that's not heavy handed with the makeup products, and dresses in clothing that fits and flatters. She's a welcome addition to QVC.
