I am so impressed with Nancy sitting on the floor selling the rugs, and even crossing her legs!

She is a breath of fresh air selling, as her youthful exuberance always comes through!

@FancyPhillyshopper I am very old and I can sit on the floor cross legged.  I have no youthful exuberance, however, I am happy to report.

I was impressed how easily and quickly she got up!   Didn't even go to one knee.  She just put both feet flat and then up!   (hard to describe).   It was around the 35-40 minute mark.

[ Edited ]

My father got polio when he was 6 months old.  Both of his legs were skinny bean poles and both of his feet were crippled beyond belief.

When he needed shoes,,he would send me to the store to order them. His size was 6E/EEEE.  They were like square boxes.

He died when he was 85.   He always  slept on the floor and he could always get up easily.

I have a knees with a replacement that makes it difficult to get up off of the floor, but i can sit with my legs crossed on the floor.  I can get up, just not too fast.

My husband who is 70 can sit on the floor with crossed legs and he can get up just like a kid could.

Nancy is a young woman.  I would guess most people her age can sit on the floor  and get up quickly.  All my adult kids can...age 49, 42 and 43. ...and my 49  year old has MS.

I am not impressed.  What she can do is normal for somone her age with no ortho problems.  I think Rick D is 62 and he sits on the floor too.

I'm can sit on a floor crossed legged and get up easily. I'm over 60. No big deal.

I'm lucky, I have no physical problems, knees, back, hips etc...knock on wood.

I can't sit on the floor like that with my legs crossed. I never did that. No one in my family did either. We sit on a chair or on the couch. I'm 74. It's certainly more comfortable sitting on a chair or on the couch that's for sure!

I think people who can't do this think it's incredible but for those who can it is not, just something "normal" or easy to do.

Re: Nancy Sitting on the Rugs

I have bad knees and I'm also very knock kneed which doesn't help.  It's been a long time since I could sit on the floor or get down on the floor to scrub it....it's just too painful to do. However I can still bend over and reach the floor easily since I do it a lot.

I am envious of those who have no problem with their knees.

Re: Nancy Sitting on the Rugs

Sitting on the floor is something most people do when with friends in a very casual setting. It is not done while working as a professional and attempting to sell products on national TV!
When is Nancy going to learn she is not a character in a TV Show and provide us with the information of items being shown . . . and demonstrate the product well. I get the feeling she doesn't have a clue how to do so each time she needs to ask the Rep or a Producer about the colors available. Why hasn't Nancy prepared for her shows in advance? I'm bored with her. She seems to think viewers are watching her model, babble mistakes, and gaze into the monitors at herself! Not happening. It's just a shopping channel, Nancy. Your Knight in Shining Armour doesn't watch QVC!!!  Save the drama poses and get to work, please.
