I ordered 5 Breezies bras when they were the TSV a little while ago......of the 5 bras, all of which were ordered as wire free & the same size, only 3 in the order received were actually what I ordered.......one was sent two sizes smaller than what I ordered, clearly marked on the package, & the other one was underwire, also with the correct item number, not wire free.
Then, an Eternagold cross bracelet was BENT when I opened the package and then a different bracelet I wore ONE DAY broke & fell off for no reason....WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO "QUALITY" QVC?
I have shopped here a long, long, time, but quality has really gone DOWNHILL.....I have received items that clearly had been worn, returned & repackaged and I even received a Valerie Parr Hill Christmas item that was MILDEWED! What the heck?
I am NOT a happy customer!

There was a time when my co-workers called me "Ms. QVC". Not anymore. I have drifted over to EvineLive for Patricia Nash handbags, Borghese skin care, and Waterford crystal for gift items plus exotic silver jewelry. They are lavish with EZ pays and often offer free shipping. Presentations are calmly delivered and the presenter actually gets to talk.
I also shop the Macy's sales for discounted high end handbags and free shipping. I just got a Dooney & Bourke for 40% off from Macy's. Also, MyHabit.com has lots of good deals even Kooba. Plus ILoveDooney.com. Josie Maran online has coupon codes and free shipping a lot of the time.
We have lots of choices and are savvy shoppers.
I think QVC has lost focus and taken us long-time shoppers for granted. I have gotten the wrong Bobbi Brown lipgloss when there were only 2 shades, obviously been worn Susan Graver complete with wrinkles where someone sat in it, jewlery where the stone fell out etc.
I come over daily to check the forums and, sadly, that's about it.

If you are loving the Patricia Nash handbags you MUST hit a TJ Maxx and Marshall's. I am hooked. Also check out PN's website too.
I have been lorking over at Evine too. I have picked up several Trollbeads items. The prices are unbelievable !

My Q purchases have also gone down greatly. There are so many choices for savvy shoppers Oryany bags are greatly reduced on Neiman Marcus sale and free shipping. Free shipping at Nordstrom.
Chicos purchases are way down too. Talbots up due to better merchandise and more frequent sales. JJill have the best tee shirts but rarely on sale and shipping very high. Macy has so many games but if you want to play you get good deals too. I cannot for the life of me understand how Dillards can stay in the game with their pricing and lack of promotions.
And these community boards........why censor other discount codes and flash sales but allow H SN discussions?

I have recently been switching over to evine as it is a lot more affordable. Qvc,especially Susan graver have gotten a bit steep. I have found however the quality is hit or miss on evine.

I tend to agree with the OP, although some of the customer service is outstanding, even superb.... some of the other customer service is very poor!!
I also agree that the actual items sent to customers as brand new are often not, often not even looked at, resent dirty and worn and that's not just clothing. I ordered a little make up case about ten years ago, when it came I was delighted with it until I opened it and saw make up residue smeared on the bottom inside of the case~!! I didn't even attempt to clean it... why should I?? I bought (supposdly) a brand new item.
I have also had turn around clothing items in nasty shape, used handbags, etc. What was once incredibly superb quality control and lapsed to no quality control.... just turn around the item and be done with it.
I sell used items on eBay and I can't get away with sending out deplorable items..... I'd get nailed on my reviews and would quickly have my Top Rated Seller status yanked!
I still enjoy QVC but am far more selective than I was even ten years ago... AND I shop a lot of different venues.
