Recently I have ordered 2 pair of shoes AS IS and I have been very happy with them both.
I have been keeping an eye on AS IS items regularly. In the clothing line I see a certain brand with lots of AS IS items. To me this means that there is a problem with that certain vendor items. It has to be more than just a few returns reasons such as fit, color, size, etc. I am mentioning this because I saw a post about someone getting a questionaire about the Logo product. Maybe the number of returns is why the questionaire received focused on Logo.
I check out AS IS for a specific brand Belle by Kim Gravel. There seems to be very few in stock, which tells me most are happy with their items.
Do you think I am correct in this thinking?

hard to say , but there are probably many more thousand of LG items ordered/sold than Kim stuff = more returns just a percentage thing

Not necessarily
LOGO has 1,000s of items in stock, I would imagine there would be more As Is for that line than a line like Gravel, with not as many items.
What about Susan Graver? She probably has more items than LOGO. Are there a lot of As Is for the Graver line?
What about Denim & Co?

@software...............I dont checkout SG and D&C very often. I do like SG stuff and used to have a lot of her things. Im retired now and dont need the dressy look so much. As for D&C a lot of their items are too boring for me so I dont check them out as much. So you could be right. It just seemed to me this morning that AS IS was filled with Logo stuff.

@jackthebear....................sounds like a very good possibility. Larger sales, larger returns. Makes sense to me.

Aren't As Is items, items which were used as props?

This isn't a fashion item, but I'll chime in anyway. Laurie Grenier had some bamboo cover very firm pillows that were exactly like the pillows I got at Costco for $50.00 each. Her "as Is" were $12.50 each. Since they were returnable I took a chance. The box was battered and retaped, but the pillows were still compressed in their original shipping tubes. Obviously a customer had opened them and said these are not for me and returned them. I am a pillow fanatic, we have 6 beds between house and cottage so I'm constantly on the hunt. These are my very favorite, but I would not put them on a guest bed, since DH hates them. I am obviously wierd and in the minority according to the reviews.

Do you have an alltime favorite Belle item? I have not tried her brand yet. I feel like the "As Is" section has changed. The home section has really changed, seems like a lot more items, but I've never seen any of them.
