Hello, MrsDeBo and welcome. ![]()
I didn't see the thread, but it may not have been your fault. Sometimes when people start threads, it starts out great. Then others come in, start having an arguement and the thread gets locked.
Or, your thread may have been reported by someone for whatever reason and the mods may have decided to delete it.
It's hard to tell on this forum because no matter how nice a thread may start, it may go sour and the OP (that's short for original poster) is left wondering if they posted something wrong or not.

Exactly....there is no use trying to give your honest opinion about anyone (even if not that negative!)...........we as the people who watch 24/7 should be able to comment on whomever and whatever we want as long as it is done in a nice way. Shawn is over the top with her makeup, black clothes, crazy talk, etc. .... and now the glasses.......Guess I'll just have to stop watching. Sorry QVC if I can purcjase as ,icj as O dp but not offer my opinion. I am not a Shawn hater either!! JMHO

There's no doubt there are "protected" hosts on this forum. I don't know if this is instructional or if there are so many posts on particular hosts, they get attention.

Just now I pulled that thread up to read the comments, and I noticed that 2 comments were removed because they were unkind. For the life of me, I can't imagine why anyone would post anything unkind toward someone who is expecting a baby?! There is no excuse for that, other than just being straight up nasty.
The ability, however fleeting, to be straight up nasty is why some posters are here.
That's for sure @Moonchilde. There are some that have never had a nice word to say. Only nasty remarks.
Can you just imagine how sad their lives must be? No happiness whatsoever every day. Such a waste.
Nothing wrong with constructive criticism, it is how we grow in our careers, lives and relationships.

@beckyb1012, ITA.
One thing I've noticed about the consistent complainers who target a host or hosts is that they tend to believe that that host or those hosts are somehow protected from such comments.
It's absurd because all I see are are threads and posts after threads and posts repeating the same-old negative against their most disliked host du jour.
Perhaps this group, aside from being conspiracy-minded, isn't satified with any moderation to keep in check some of the nastier, more cruel remarks and would just love free rein to vent ad nauseam in order to....what?
I still haven't figured out the answer, but I do think it lies with the poster(s) more than it does with a TV host who can be removed from their lives so easily with just one click.

I would like to clarify that I am not conspiricy minded. I am not a hater of a certain host, I simply do not care for her. I post about the things that bother me about her as do a LOT of others. I comment about the shoes, clothes, hair and teen like actions and speech. I do not talk about weight, facial features or figure. I did say something about a dress making her look large but I said nothing about her weight, I said the dress.
I voice my opinion because I can, this is a forum to voice opinions. Yes some do go way to far and I have done so myself knowing I will get poofed but sometimes the occasion calls for it.
There are a lot of people that feel the way I do and it would be nice to say things about a dress, shoes or makeup without the usual snark.
For the record I say a lot of good things about products and host's, I am not negative nellie. I am in fact a very happy secure woman.

Why do you care? Personally, I couldn't care less what people write about a host, good or bad. If you don't like the post, do what I do, don't read it.
It's peoples' choice to write a post whether it offends you or not. You can't expect to, or have the right to control anyone from expressing their pleasures or displeasures with a host.
After all, there are much bigger things in life to be concerned with than postings that don't personally don't concern you.

I agree with you People do have a choice and others opinions do not offend me, they can say what they want to.
