I've noticed there are more and more moderator removals of posts. Come on, now...let us speak. Censorship on the rise.

The moderators are in most cases responding to one person complaining. So blame your fellow forum members for reporting posts. That's how it is now.

@Susiemama     You accept their rules when you post here... otherwise do not post. It is QVC's right to moderate as they choose.   Use facebook if you want  less censorship.

@Susiemama  Read the Community Standards. They're the same as they've always been. Nothing is on the rise. Plenty of forums out there where you can post whatever you want.

There is no free speech on this board.  It's a QVC owned board.

I'm not so sure the removals are the result of people complaining.  I think the Mods are more on top of what is being posted, especially in today's climate.

@chessylady  You do know you can be banned for reporting posts too often don't you? And Mods make the decision not someone who reported a post.

I am philosophically opposed to reporting posts. I rarely do so.

Well if you're not following the guidelines that's the way it goes.

@chessylady  I don't think it matters whether a poster reports a violation or not.  The mods seem very comfortable with their role.  They often chime in almost immediately when a poster is seeking help with a QVC order.  That makes me think they are quite constantly scanning the posts.  I think they know quite well what's a violation and what isn't.

I avoid lots of sites and TV channels which have policies I'm philosophically not attuned to.  My philosophy is that there's enough irritation to contend with without volunteering for it.
