I wish Amy, Shawn, Rachel and Mary would stop trying to be a model--if that's your calling quit as a host and get a modeling gig and let the real models continue to do the wonderful job they do. And I think giving models sizes should be just 2 times Ina 1 hour time slot. All this is my opinion-no one has to agree with me.

I guess I have a differing opinion. I see no reason why hosts shouldn't model. The more shapes and sizes in an item I am considering, the better. Part of their job IS to wear the items. They have been doing this since day one, however, not as often as they do now.
What a host wears tends to sell out the fastest. It must work.
As for mentioning a size just once or twice in an hour? I also disagree. I tune in and out to QVC throughout the day. It helps me if they repeat the sizes they are wearing since I have many other things to do than sit for an hour and watch a presentation.

@gypsys mom. It's not a matter of opinion. The hosts are doing as they've been instructed to do. QVC has determined that active participation by the hosts sells clothes.

I also agree that hosts are also REALLY EFFECTIVE models!!
We can see how the clothes move, and how they fit lots of different body shapes.
Yes, I also notice that when hosts wear certain colors they sell out first!

I very rarely watch an entire hour of a QVC program and sometimes depending on the host it might be muted.
Probably not the only one doing this so repetition is necessary for the watchers that come and go.
As for the hosts wearing the clothes I like it, adds extra body types and movement.

I wish the size charts were shown more frequently. Too many times either the chart isn't shown at all or not until almost the end of the presentation.

Katia could make a burlap gunnysack look like a runway item.
I prefer watching the hosts show the clothing on the air.
