Had a wonderful time

[ Edited ]

I have enjoyed shopping on the Q for many years and I will miss it!  I don't think I am a TikTok kind of person.

Just today, I was walking through my home and I have Q purchases everywhere!  Lanterns, comforters on the beds, and window candles.  I looked at what I wore out today, and I had SG capri pants and shoes from Q.  The ring was from Affinity and makeup was BE.

Half my clothes are now from there.  I have mattresses, phones, kitchen appliances, you name it!

If they no longer have a presence in my life, I should save a ton of money!

Anyway, just wondering if you all see the same in your homes!

Thanks QVC...it was a lot of fun!

@Coastalcarolina.  I certainly would miss them if they were gone.  I have a huge wardrobe and 98% of it is QVC.  I have all types of homegoods, just like you do,  small appliances and decorative items.

@Coastalcarolina  I have much of the same and my freezer is filled with a lot of their offerings too! 😝

I don't want to imagine my world of shopping without QVC in it.

I am not going to Tik or Tok. I like the website.

@Kachina624 @Coastalcarolina  A big me too to the huge wardrobe being 98% from here, as well as more jewelry than one person needs, and most of the beauty products in my bathroom.

I shop everywhere, but QVC has always been fun and convenient for me, because often I did not even have the idea of previously purchasing something until I saw it on air! I remember when you had to call in, and dial fast before something sold out.

So, just today I ordered the Joan Rivers blouse for a family member, yesterday I bought the Wamsutta sheets, my husband wanted the IHKWIP cosmetic cases, and last week I bought the Quacker factory dragonfly top and matching pants (all online!).

Well, I bought many things on impulse, like Scrub Daddy sponges; a few years ago I finally gave in and ordered a Barefoot Dreams sweater, and I love them; the Skechers shoes are always well priced, I have Harry Slatkin candles in every room, the NAILS Inc. polish is great, and the Delizioso Limoncello cake is absolutely scrumptious!

Yes, I miss Bob Mackie, and Louis D., and Judith Ripka, Ted Leach, and now Isaac, and of course, all the gold shows from Italy, but what a wonderful time I have also had buying so many fabulous outfits and gorgeous jewelry, and gifts for everyone! My closets and cabinets are pretty full, also thanks a lot to QVC!

Tik Tok might replace television programming, but online shopping is here to stay, and ever so easy!

Is there a forum on Tik Tok?

I would definitely miss the Q. I am not a fan of in-person shopping for clothes, and have narrowed down the sizing on most of the clothing brands, so I have less returns. I enjoy getting great deals on some items, and will occasionally purchase a food treat. I do not doTicToc and only use the desktop computer vs. phone to order. I can't even access the forum on my phone!

Has it been announced that they are going off air and just doing Tic Tok? I've only seen they are filing for Chapter 11.

I think those predicting total demise are jumping to an ultimate, outside conclusion.

The new ownership can still operate a viable website, the app and devote resources to expanding the TikTok Shop, other social media venues and the streaming programs.

As for broadcasting,  it could continue,  but perhaps be scaled back over time with reduced live programs.  It's expensive to operate and I'm sure expense reduction will be a goal.

Right now, we don't know what the new owners have in mind, but I doubt that it's immediate liquidation.

No.

It's business as usual--for now.  The bankruptcy process and restructuring hasn't even been finalized yet.
