The new ownership can still operate a viable website, the app and devote resources to expanding the TikTok Shop, other social media venues and the streaming programs.

As for broadcasting,  it could continue,  but perhaps be scaled back over time with reduced live programs.  It's expensive to operate and I'm sure expense reduction will be a goal.

Right now, we don't know what the new owners have in mind, but I doubt that it's immediate liquidation.

I agree with all of that.

As for what I bolded, I think if they can manage what is mentioned here and ease us long time TV watchers (yes, I include myself) over the next few years into whatever new setup they end up with, that could work to maintain some of those viewers.  But to just one day soon go off broadcast television would cost them some of their most loyal customers.  There are many that still watch, shop and order the "old fashioned" way.

Now if they can manage to attract more customers via other means to make up for that loss, then I'm sure broadcasting will go off immediately.

All we can do is wait and see. hoping for a good long term outcome.

I agree! I still have my first purchases--two salt & pepper shakers which I collected way back when, then was followed by much more jewelry than I ever needed, thanks to Rick and Jill! I already miss the old QVC and hope it can pull through. I know I will not be shopping on TicTok.DSCN3499.JPG

As long as I can shop on QVC.com that is what I will do. Not too sure about Tik Tok yet.

Absolutely yes! I haven't purchased clothes or shoes in brick and mortar stores in years. My decorations, dishes, clothes, shoes, makeup, all come from the Q. I would miss it greatly. like the OP, I see it all over my house.

@They CallMe MRWILKES  Agreed. Perhaps they should start by paring down two hosts at a time on a given show.

The jewelry!  Some of my best gold pieces came from here.

@Carolina925, they are adorable!  I remember my first purchase too.  It was the Lori Greiner jewelry safe keeper with the jewel top in morganite.  That shows that I didn't start shopping as early as many others.

I also remember how impressed I was with customer service.  I had placed the order over the phone, and it said the item was sold out.  A few minutes later a CSR called me back and said it was available if I wanted to still buy it!
