Does anyone know or have a sense as to whether QVC will still continue to have Lug Bags? I sure hope not. The reason I ask is that many bags seems to be on clearance. Wondering if this is the step they take before discontuining them.
Also, noticed that the IKWIP bags seem to have a lot more new inventory. Also just saw a very similar new IKWIP small Heart zipper pouch that Lug had/has on QVC way before they did. Not trying to offend but IKWIP seems to somewhat be copying the Lug styles. That's just my opinion, observation. If you don't agree, that's fine but please just be kind.

I like and have both. However my Lug bags are older and have been purchasing IKWIP bags more recently.
I feel that Lug bags tend to be "cuter" while IKWIP are more modern looking.

My Lug carry-on on suitcase purchased 14 years ago has traveled extensively all over the world impressive quality and looks like new. Nothing cute about it. Interior design perfect.

I don't buy many bags these days - too expensive and I just don't have the need. But when I do, I seem to buy the Lug bags! I only buy when they are on sale though. I love that they are constructed so well and are light-weight, which is important to me. I hope they keep presenting them!

The heart change purse is no stranger to many brands, including Vera Bradley, Radley London, etc.
I don't think Lug is going anywhere (of course I could be very wrong). But my personal opinion is that Lug lost it's way for a while.
They started as cool, extremely organized, unique bags that had colors and patterns that grabbed your attention. They talked about being swag bags on the red carpet; Chaz Dean was shown carrying their bags to QVC, etc.
Then they got very, very cutesy, Disney-obsessed, and their offerings changed. Don't get me started on those charm bars. Now Lug's presentations keep stating they hear customers clamoring for their back-to-basics styles.
IHKWIP came at the right time. They got the attention of Lug's original shoppers, like me, for sure. Shawn mentioned they've sold a million bags on QVC, so they are doing very well too.
I hope there will continue to be room for both. But I get more excited for IHKWIP's new offerings than Lug's.

@haddon9 I feel the same. I only started purchasing Lug bags in 2020, lockdown, watching LugLives on the app. Never was a "bag girl" where I bought lots of bags, or switched out too much, only seasonly with a few...in the old days it was one bag for winter one or two for summer (switching around with straw, canvas, various summer bags.) Then somehow "they got me" in 2020, started purchasing, never thinking I'd buy many. I do have several now, but not all handbags, and nothing beyond what I actually use. I mostly use crossbodies these days, always preferred being hands-free.
But I have travel type Lugs, and accessory bags too...carryon duffle, backpack, beach bag, cosmetic bags...and I get lots of use out of all of them. They've come in handy, these last few years, for travel, and filled categories of bags I didn't have. But, I now have enough for my needs/wants. Did I overdo it a tad? Yes, got caught up in "oooooh THAT's a cute color/print!" (though I mostly prefer solids.)
But like you....IF I had a need for a new type nylon bag, I've been watching some IKWIP presentations...and I would go there now...they are more modern, sophisticated. I also have seen "Wanderall" brand on social media, similar to IKWIP, and they're nice. @Kachina624 always mentions another nylon brand she buys, I've checked out and always forget the name...more pricey, but also more sophisticated.
All this said, to OP's question...not sure if they're winding down on Q, they use their LugLive platform SO much now and also sell on Instagram/TikTok, QVC is not their main platform anymore.
I've mostly bought from LugLive buys at good deal pricing, but occasionally, I've gotten something on Q where the prcing was better. I don't know how Lug branched out so much...I think it's too much now, way too much...but it must be something in their business "scaling up" plan...it's all over the place. I think the clothing is mostly baaaaad. (though I did buy a jacket I love and wear all the time, and the leggings are comfortable...but fade out quickly.)
Long answer! Sorry.

I've been wondering this too. I used to be a "Lug Nut" from 2019 to the end of 2023 when I stopped buying. Then I still hung out in their Facebook groups until earlier this year. Now that I'm not in those groups, I don't hear any Lug news. Lug's quality went down hill a few years ago. I think that they started using their lining fabric on the outside which was lesser in quality. They also had so many moments of turning their backs when there were problems until they were pressured to respond. It became too often and too much for many fans, not just me.

I don't care for LUG or IHKWIP.
Just me, but won't purchase anything with a name like IHKWIP.
