The same holds true for those that resent Amy for having a wonderful husband and the cute toddler named Bree. The criticism about her speaks of the same type of undertones.

Not so much from where I sit. I never resented Lisa and I don't resent Amy's family. I liked and enjoyed Lisa. I find Amy virtually unwatchable. There are very real and significant differences between the two of them.

Lisa was a wonderful QVC host.  She also had 20+ years of experience.  We probably will not see her likes again.  Amy is fine.  She trained with Lisa R as did Shawn.  I am sure Amy and Shawn will get better.  Personally I wish QVC would hire Lisa R back as GILI Creative Director.  Lisa R knew how to create excitement with the products.  Jill Martin does a good job and is likeable, but she cannot sell out products like Lisa R did. Possibly Lisa R had a better feel for the QVC customer.

I don't think she had a better feel for the customer. I think Jill has a fairly flat affect that doesn't generate enthusiasm or interest, although I agree that she was somewhat more animated during her most recent appearances. She doesn't seem very friendly, and that doesn't help. Not saying she isn't, but that is how she appears during the shows.

I assume GILI is still Lisa Roberstson's designs/line. Why does someone else come on the Q to represent it? Did the Q make her sign a non-compete clause of some kind when she left?

In my opinion Lisa was acting a bit weird towards the end.  She kept making jokes trying to be funny.  All the models especially host Courtney laughing at her jokes I didn't think the jokes were funny.  I thought that maybe because she was getting older she was trying to compensate.  Whenever she was on I changed the channel never bought one product she was selling.  Lisa just gave me a not so friendly vibe.  Glad she is doing well but I did not miss when she left.  It's just my opinion.

Shanus

I suspect she had a non compete clause in her QVC contract.  The year is ending.  I suspect she has something lined up.  She is probably working on it now.  She has a huge fan base on her Facebook page.  When I take a look at the page, it appears she has a very active page. Lisa R, it seems, is very progressivve at keeping her thousands of fans actively engaged with her.  I certainly understand after almost 25 years on QVC, she wanted a change.  I wish her well in her future endeavors.
