I think that's quite an assumption and not apparent at all.

All of these people supposedly in the know about Lisa's departure from QVC-do not know anything. If QVC was letting her go, she would have been gone immediately like Bob Bowersox. Considering how QVC is scrambling to replace her, I suspect it was her decision. QVC would not have allowed her to make that speech prior to the beauty awards. She would have just been gone.

Actually, no. I work in television, and that's not the way it usually happens. No one is "just gone" unless there are truly extenuating circumstances.
If a contract is not renewed, the on-air talent usually remains until the end of their current contract. And people who leave (no matter the reason) are often given on-air send-offs and the opportunity to say goodbye.

Something else to consider --
Do not make a sweeping assumption that just because she announced it in October and was on the air until December, it had to be her decision.
Sometimes, people decide to leave and they may leave right away or stay a while. Sometimes, people are told they are not being renewed - NOT FIRED - and they leave right away or sometimes, they stay for the duration of their contract.
Don't read anything into a host being or not being on the air.

To me she is a total mess and should not even be classified as a designer and I don't care what magazine or newspaper or anyone else says about her. That being said, Jackie is my favorite model and for Lori to go on a shopping show that reaches millions of people and say something degrading like that and hurt someone's feelings, is despicable to me. Poor Jackie! She should refuse to work with her. I never watch her shows so I just found out about this now as I read the posts. I cringe when I see her on any of the fashion shows. As a matter of fact, the Q should probably get rid of her after that remark but they won't because of people who buy her cheap flimsy material and unflattering same style layered upon layered tops, which are outrageously priced. I think Jackie is very pretty but I think Lori needs to take a good long look in the mirror. Who does she think she is? She's certainly no beauty, she's a total mess and always looks sloppy. I guess then SHE SHOULD BE DRESSING HEAD TO TOE IN PINK!. No vendor or host should criticize or ever make rude remarks about the models. I bet she won't last long on the Q anyway because the clothes she brings are nothing but a big fad. And after that sharkbite sloppy multi layer clothing fad dies down, so will Lori and all her money. It can't happen soon enough for me. SHAME, SHAME ON HER!On 3/22/2015 Krissie2 said:LG said something to the effect of "I always like to style Jackie in pink tones since she's not so pretty". I guess to sell/suggest to customers, buy pink so it will make you look pretty even if you are not, per her follow up statement. My thought was, ok-get the shovel out, let's see you dig yourself out of that disparaging comment. Jackie looked a bit stunned, but then tried to brush it off. Monday night viewing is more entertaining now, not for fashion info/shopping but to see the flubs and desperate selling pitches. Right now....it just hasn't worked for me...that entire line up Monday night from 7 to midnight is just chaotic...and unfun to watch.....
I gave it a whirl both weeks....when Lori said what she did about Jackie...I won't ever watch her again...ever....
Never cared for Inspired ....don't like the models talking during presentations....
I like IM...but not with Shawn....too crazy confusing...
PMS without LR....is not running smoothly....like it use to....
Basically....The Q...Monday night won't be on my T.V. going forward....
Yep. That comment was a real turn off for me, too. A slip that showed her true character. I wanted to hug Jackie after that.
May I ask what she said about Jackie?
Jackie is one of my favorites.
Something about her not being pretty.
I don't recall the actual quote, but someone here probably will. I watched the video of it, and while LG tried to backtrack her comment immediately, you can't unring that bell.

Dishy you are full of dish. Lisa's pictures were on the front page of Q in multiples up and till her announcement. Shawn is the potty mouth - and does so many gross thing, so you don't not watch much. Don't believe you are an insider at all. Q in no way was ready to replace Lisa, not even with a new hiring from Oct and they still don't have it right yet. the programming is a mess.
Her contract may have gotten ready to expire and yes maybe there was a new offer from Q but the new CEO is all about trying to make more money or he will lose his miilions. So potty mouth story doesn't cut it.

I don't believe your story for a minute that any on air guests would have complained about Lisa. She was loved by so many and was friends with them even outside of the Q. The models and vendors alike loved her, did you see her last show and how the models cried? Did you see small segments from vendors and hosts saying how much they were going to miss her? A potty mouth? You have got to be kidding, what hole did you dig that up from? Lisa was so pleasant and friendly with everyone, including callers and anyone who met her said she was so friendly and down to earth. YOU don't know a thing about Lisa, so maybe you should just stop the nonsense. Lisa was QVC's cash cow and IMO, everything is not the same since she left and I bet they are sorry she's gone. I was a big fan of Lisa's and I only wish the best for her in whatever she decides to do.Lisa was told in September that she was done when her contract renewed in March, 2015. Yes, just this month is when her contract was finished.
She made the announcement in October that December 12th would be her last show. Her non-compete did not begin until this month. She acknowledged having one on her Facebook page.
If you go back, QVC and Claire Watts parted ways at the same time Lisa was given her news. A few Facebook posts have also been removed because they were very telling in terms of the time line of events.
The reason for the non-renewal of her contract? Too many complaints from on air guests and others. Seems Lisa had an ego and a potty mouth.
If this is deleted, so be it. Do not tell me and the others that know the truth that we do not know. We do.

Unless Lisa writes a tell-all book, we'll never know the truth. I've heard from people in radio, that radio is very political and cutthroat and it doesn't matter how popular you are with the audience - if someone in power decides they don't like you, you are out. I don't know anyone in television but I wonder if it's the same situation. Lisa could have gotten caught up in the Claire Watts being forced out situation. She did state on air that she was very upset when Claire left. The other thing I find interesting is her wording in her blog on GILI when she said "when the decision was made that I was leaving." If it had been her decision, she would have been more direct and said something like, when I decided to leave.
This quote is from her blog:
"My connection with the line was one of the hardest things to leave at QVC. I loved creating it, but when the decision was made that I was leaving the company, unfortunately, I had to leave the line as well."
I just found her wording a little odd if it were completely her decision. I have no idea and could be completely wrong - just my opinion for what ever that is worth. Either that or she is being very careful not to say who made the decision that she was leaving, her or QVC.

She never stated on air she was not happy Claire Watts left. Plus, the verbiage she used ...when the decision was made that I was leaving the company"...doesn't make me think she didn't leave on her own accord. That could just me she made the decision.
I don't for one second think QVC asked her to leave. They may not have wanted to up her salary, and they may not have met comparable negotiations, but they didn't dump her.
We are all replaceable, and I know that. But, Lisa was a top seller, she was professional, she was given all the high-profile shows, and I don't see any reason why QVC would dump her unless she wanted far too much money. Then and only then, imo, would they not continue her contract.
