Yep. That comment was a real turn off for me, too. A slip that showed her true character. I wanted to hug Jackie after that.

Jackie is one of my favorites.

Something about her not being pretty. I don't recall the actual quote, but someone here probably will. I watched the video of it, and while LG tried to backtrack her comment immediately, you can't unring that bell.

LG said something to the effect of "I always like to style Jackie in pink tones since she's not so pretty". I guess to sell/suggest to customers, buy pink so it will make you look pretty even if you are not, per her follow up statement. My thought was, ok-get the shovel out, let's see you dig yourself out of that disparaging comment. Jackie looked a bit stunned, but then tried to brush it off. Monday night viewing is more entertaining now, not for fashion info/shopping but to see the flubs and desperate selling pitches. Lol!

I never liked Lori or her clothes (I certainly won't call them designs). To me she is a total mess and should not even be classified as a designer and I don't care what magazine or newspaper or anyone else says about her. That being said, Jackie is my favorite model and for Lori to go on a shopping show that reaches millions of people and say something degrading like that and hurt someone's feelings, is despicable to me. Poor Jackie! She should refuse to work with her. I never watch her shows so I just found out about this now as I read the posts. I cringe when I see her on any of the fashion shows. As a matter of fact, the Q should probably get rid of her after that remark but they won't because of people who buy her cheap flimsy material and unflattering same style layered upon layered tops, which are outrageously priced. I think Jackie is very pretty but I think Lori needs to take a good long look in the mirror. Who does she think she is? She's certainly no beauty, she's a total mess and always looks sloppy. I guess then SHE SHOULD BE DRESSING HEAD TO TOE IN PINK!. No vendor or host should criticize or ever make rude remarks about the models. I bet she won't last long on the Q anyway because the clothes she brings are nothing but a big fad. And after that sharkbite sloppy multi layer clothing fad dies down, so will Lori and all her money. It can't happen soon enough for me. SHAME, SHAME ON HER!

You are right; she never said it directly. It was the night she kind of freaked out about the fb postings. Plus, it's definitely speculation. She referenced the day that Claire left as being a horrible day for her - but it could have been a horrible day for other reasons. She is friends with Claire (that's somewhere on FB), so that's the reason for the speculation.

I saw the presentation and it was said in a teasing way and Jackie was laughing. I am not a fan of LG but never found her nasty just a bit flighty. Re Lisa, what difference does it make whether she chose to leave or not? She had an ego larger than life so she would never admit being let go....probably mutual, who knows ? They may have bought out the rest of her contract, gave her a settlement and usually, you sign a legal agreement not to disparage the Company. The send off was nice but I noticed, most of the older hosts did not post on the blog, mostly, the younger hosts did and only a couple of the models. Considering her years there, not many vendors showed up either. I find the new line up fresh and the music and set a lot nicer than the tired PMS. I am not a fan of LR as she was so pretentious, but did not hate her....I just never watched PMS or rarely ...I watch a little of it now but Isaac is my interest on Monday.

I watched the video from the item number posted (around 6 minutes in).

One thing I've learned on these boards is how literal many people are and how many do not understand dry humor. My take on it was that, as they appear to be close, Lori was going to make a joke and thought better of it. Sort of like if one would say Sophia Vergera always looks like a dog - everyone knows its not true because she always looks amazingly put together. But, the set up wasn't there for Lori, and it did come out strange. She did start to say it, but thought better of it, and couldn't stop her mouth in time.

If she didn't like Jackie, she wouldn't be in all her shows.

I agree about the straight hair and Chaz being no good judge at hair styling..lol.I think LR is very attractive but she needs to stop it with the face-tune app. It clearly shows in that pic especially the erased areas. As far Lori Goldstein.... her clothes are not flattering on her and I got your Cindy Lauper reference....you meant no slam on her,but meant she used to dress like that..all layered up. Which was cool.....in the 80's..lol.

I watched the video and it's obvious Lori was joking ....saying she was not pretty because she so clearly IS. It's like saying the nicest person is such a b----wITCH,the best chef is a TERRIBLE cook,or the most generous person NEVER pays....everyone laughs because it so not true. It's a compliment ...in a joke. Too many read negative into every little thing.
