I too have suffered from Meniere's Disease. It is one of the worse things to experience. I had very severe attacks that required me to have gentamicin injections in the inner ear onthe affected side. I am better now but have lost much hearing on that side, I wish Lisa the best and anyone else who has experienced this.

Lisa posted on her facebook page that she was diagnosed with Meuniere's ( spelling ? ) Disease. She has had dizziness for years but was finally diagnosed with this. It causes ringing in the ears I believe and also dizziness.

I suffer from Vertigo, too.....my first bout was several years ago....wiped me right out...its quite scary when you don't know what it is or what is happening to you....

I wish Lisa and Gino well.....

My father had this disease while I was in college. He basically was bed bound until he got over it. He said he felt like he was climbing up walls. Don't really know what meds he was given....

Lisa has posted (on FB) that she is "taking some personal time for a little while." She says she is "ok." I don't remember the longer post, and don't wish to paraphrase,; see her FB page where she posted about 2 hours ago today. I hope for the best for Lisa and her husband.

She has had her health issues but decided health healh issues from time to time but she gives out such vague information. Not that I want her medical history. HOw cn you run 5k races if your health is not good----makes no sense.

I agree. It does not make sense, and I don't want her medical history or Gino's either. God bless them both.
