ITA with what most of you have said. I was thrilled to hear she was returning. Someone who isn't a twenty something. Lisa has grace, class and knowledge! Isn't that a novel idea for a host!?!
But with that said, I agree...not at the cost of her health OR her time with her husband!
Her health issues story reminds me a lot of parts of my own. I was diagnosed with everything from vertigo, fibromyalgia, depression....finally culminating in a confirmation of primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis. I wouldn't wish my journey and the end game on anyone. I live in the same area as many of the QVC hosts. I had the luxury of good insurance and the opportunity to both the NYC and Philadelphia medical community; and everywhere in between. It was and continues to be a nightmare.
I truly wish Lisa a good, smart physician that calls in help when he has reached his limit of expertise. I hope from a selfish perspective that she does make it back on air.
Lisa, if you read these posts, please know that this woman and, I'm sure hundreds of others are praying for both you and your loving husband. 🌹

I hope she feels better soon.  I also experience vertigo from time to time, and it is not a pleasant feeling.

I have said so many times that L.M. is one wih class and she and MBR need to hold a new employee host class for how to be a professional, non-interrupting, classy dressed host. I hope L.M. and her husband the very best of God's graces and as I have always said, she can call me sweetie pie and honey any time she wants. That made her so sweet, a nice southern girl.

I'm an RN and I LIVE with 2 chronic illnesses. It's very possible to have flare ups an remissions. That may be what Lisa is experiencing. She is a very fit woman. So, it is very possible she could handle a 5k.
Let's think positively for her, rather than imagining negativity. God bless Lisa.

Thank you Gemspirit for commenting to those who have this misconception that people with chronic illness can't be physically fit, lead productive lives, and could actually participate in something as taxing as a marathon.  Being one who suffers from chronic illnesses and medical conditions keeping my body as physically fit as possible actually helps toward the effort to have a decent quality of life.  Sure, there are times when nothing helps and the illness wins (as Lisa is experiencing now), but there are certainly also periods of time when I can do many physical things same as anyone who is considered to be totally well.

Get well soon Lisa!

To TRIX: You are so right, unfortunately for me I'm also in one of those low points now where the pain, and weakness is winning. It's all due to stress. Some very sad things have happened in my family since Memorial Day. However, we're also planning a wedding for one of our children. That's all happy things (most of it) but, stressful none the less.
It's very difficult to get people, even in your own family to understand. My DH doesn't even get it!
I pray, I watch old movies, I read, and I come here...do whatever I can till the flare up eases and I can have my life back again.
I pray for Lisa and, her DH every day along with many others and myself and others like me.
Be Blessed.

Great post Trix. I am an R.N, as well and I have a debilitating condition that keeps me in bed a lot of the time, but I have remissions too. You could look at me and never tell there was one thing wrong with me. So you never know, how when you have to, or are feeling better, people would never know you are about to come apart inside. God Bless Gino&Lisa.
