First of all I am sitting and watch one of Lori's shows as I type this. I have bought a lot from this designer and I have sent a lot back. BUT today I'm sorry, but Lori looks foolish in this strip and lace top layered over even more lace frill !! Lori looks as though she got off work from her second job as a circus clown. I have had a lot of respect for her design and freedom of "having fun" mixing and not matching , but c'mon Lori !! Even the models looked terrible in these outfits. I see NO ONE dressing in all these layers ...NO ONE !! When it's 90 out who wants layers and layers of clothng. I wish she would get back to basics with her designs....... I will not be buying anymore from her the quality and design in my opinion is just not there . Sorry Lori...... :-(  WHAT HAPPENED ???

Here's a thought for you: the pieces can be worn singly, they needn't be layered.  Brilliant, huh?  Of course that takes one more step in the thought process - being original......

What does it matter what other people are wearing?  I have my own style. I am an individual - I don't look around me to see what everyone else is wearing.   I think it's a plus being unique.  I'm not a lemming just following a crowd.   I don't get this "I don't see anyone else wearing this?"  Obviously thousands of women are because Lori's clothes keep selling out, but who cares anyway who is wearing them?  I wear what I like. I'm not part of a herd.   Are you?

I didn't see the show today, and I can't imagine why this old post was started up again, but I certainly understand what the poster today is saying.  I have several tops from this line that I use for layering.  IMO none of these tops look good on their own.  I stopped buying long ago, and I agree that, even tho it appears that these garments fly out of there on QVC, I also have never see anyone dressing like they do in those presentations.  That would indeed be very much clown-like.  I'd like to think I am individual minded when I dress, but for all the retailers who are carrying these cookie cutter uneven hemlines, if you are purchasing any of that, you are following the herd.

Not that many people are wearing them: Lori brings small numbers. l500 sold out for the entire country is a drop in a big, big bucket.

OH, I hope NOT! It's not just you--it's me, too. I just don't get why women want to pay good money to look SLOPPY.

And I don't get how adults who are supposed to have some maturity, don't understand that people can have different tastes and who feel the need to trash clothes that other people like.

Perhaps because this is a Fashion forum and we discuss what we like and what we don't like. It has nothing to do with "maturity."

I have watched her "Fashions" for several months and cannot believe women buy her clothing line. I swear she has no fashion sense at all.  This line of clothing would be adorable on a very young girl but not a grown women, it would make you look like you just rolled out of bed and went to your closet with your eyes closed. I feel bad people are spending their hard earned dollars on Log "fashions"!

Everything is so over priced.   One can shop at a Ross, TJX, Belk, Marshalls, etc. and find the long cardigans and tops at half if not more of the Logo price.  I also think the clothes are tacky, too many layers and way too young for the older consumers.    Any customer could  easily fall in to credit card debt watching a Logo show.

I agree... her fashion line is too 'Annie Hall' for my taste.. Just wondered if anyone felt that way...

Well, I loved the Annie Hall look back in the day, but it was sort of funky preppy with quality tailoring, elements of classic style, and good fabrics versus the, well, cheap fabrics and yard-sale-style layers of unrelated stuff that characterizes LOGO--to my eye. I know that not everyone sees it that way, so I am only speaking for how I see it. Btw, I think Ralph Lauren, a fledgling designer at the time, styled the Annie Hall character, didn't he? Correct me if I am wrong, please.
