Kudos to Rick and Mary Beth

Rick and Mary Beth seem to be the only hosts who have any clue what the NFL actually is and that the season starts this week.

David was asking tonight when the season started and you just wonder what's wrong with the guy.

Worse than that was when the NFL gear guy was on and Alberti had no clue who any of the teams were but was giddy about the different shades of red, lol.

Believe it or not, a lot of people aren't into football nor to they keep up with it.

In our house the only sport watched is baseball...and my husband is the fan. I don't like sports, never have.

The only thing that bugged me about the situation with David is that he made a big deal out of wearing a special apron in honor of the season starting but then had no clue about any of the details. How hard would it have been to ask around or even Google the date before going on air when he knew this was happening? It ended up being awkward and pointless.

@Packersfan1265 I happen to like FBall, High School, College, NFL. That said, of course, there are a lot of people who don't like it.

However, even if these hosts don't care about the game, they should at least bone up on it if they are going to sell the gear. That should be a given.

A side note, Alberti giggles about anything, mostly when it isn't even funny.
