Just watching the Luminaire presentation

and I don't think I have ever seen a vendor take over the show like this. She did not come up for air. The host just stood there and could not get a word in.

They have gotten too expensive.  When they first came out they were more then candlee impressions ...but worth it ....now they are ridiculous.

Not to beat this drum again, but at one time, I probably had 25 of these candles.

All died in less than 2 years.

My Candle Impressions are still going.

And, yes, Luminaire are too expensive.  Maybe I had a bad batch, but I won't buy them ever again.

The vendor probably had to talk fast to convince buyers they were worth the cost.

I love my "Candle Impressions". I've searched all over for the set like I purchased a couple yrs ago. I can't find them on QVC, Amazon, or anywhere. I wanted to gift a set, for house warming. Sadly I do not find them.

@TX-starlight

You might want to take a look at Walmart.

I did find something similar to CI candles.  Mine are displayed in a transom over a french door to my patio.

In all honesty, they look as nice as the CI.

However, there are very basic candles, not as decorative.  And, much lighter weight.

I like my Candle Impressions too. We, meaning my husband and I also like Pier One's Flamesless candles, a little pricey but we usually buy when we can use a coupon.......They have color changing ones that are so pretty, that we put in out outside lanterns.... I also bought into the hype of Luminara a few years ago, but never again. Mine stopped working after about 8 months or so-just not worth the money......

Like many of you, my Luminara's are slowly dying!  And they are so expensive!!  I do like my Candle Impression candles and they are many years old.  I still have some that did not have timers!

Re: Just watching the Luminaire presentation

I own over 60 Luminara candles, most of which have been in my possession for about 6 years.  I’ve never had one die on me.  Most of them run 24/7, 365.

That vendor is a bit pushy.  And one time she kind of made a snarky remark aimed at Candle Impressions...not fond of that one at all!

What makes the Luminara even more expensive is when they add the remote, which adds an additional $11 per candle....and if you already have several you already have enough remotes that work with your candles........But some people said they want the remote because they give the candle as gifts....well let the ones that buy them as gifts purchase the remote as a separate item...Woman Frustrated
