jane seems to be a typical stage mom, always pushing those daughters of hers into the spotlight- she is a good salesperson though, phony as they come!

Very true (re-living her early years, vicariously, through her daughters) AND she always reminds the audience about it, ad nauseum...

Her DH didn't look too pleased w/ being pushed into the spotlight by her on the Christmas Eve show. {#emotions_dlg.scared}

But I'll bet he doesn't mind her income.

If she is going to sell shoes she really needs to wash her feet. Flipped through channels and saw her shoe show. She was putting on the shoes and the camera zoomed in and her feet were dirty. Such a nasty presentation.

I have always liked Jane. She is one of the few hosts that actually describe the product that she is attempting to sell. I also like the fact that she tries the shoes on because then she is able to tell me if the sizing is true to size, larger or smaller which helps me in ordering. Cut her some slack please she tries to do a good job in explaining products. Some of the hosts never even tell you if the product is leather, man made or anything even on clothing I like to know if the item is cotton, polyester, acrylic, etc.

Jane does a good job selling the less-than-flattering shoes that are chosen for her shows. That said, she isn't my favorite, but she must be moving product or she wouldn't be a host.

I've heard several hosts comment they brought or wanted this or that for their show, even some "bringing" a new vendor to the show. So, I think Jane and the hosts have input to what they bring to their show. Leah asks for and brings more variety to her shoe shows. I think Jane likes the selection of shoes she brings. Clarks brought their Spring collection to the show Sat., and Jayne did a super great job on that two hour show. Jayne is such a great host, providing a professional and fun show. Clarks are not my fav, but they had a more interesting collection than just clogs.

I really like Jane as a host, but the best shows she does are the kitchen ones

Well,well I made a comment earlier about Jane and how I liked her BUT I made comments about models and their ugly feet.

Wonder why it was deleted? I sure did not say anything as bad as some on here.

Don't worry, be Happy!

Those overhead camera shots have got to go.

Jane's feet aren't ugly, just not attractive (really I don't think anyone's are) to have an overhead, zoom up shot of bare feet is a yuck factor for me.

Jane should do what Leah does in shoe shows, present the shoes, have the models show how they look on the foot & be done w/it.

The viewers don't need to see what a shoe looks like on Jane or any other show host.

I think she's basically a great host - just wish she would quit talking so much about her daughters and mom stories!! They all need to stick to the products they are presenting more!

Thats one of my complaints.Save the personal information to share with your friends,we are interested in INFORMATION about the product being presented,not how your daughter did in ballet class!

I like her kitchen shows too. Jane, Marybeth, Jill and Antonella should do more kitchen shows.
