@QVCTVSpree  I don't know about meth, but he was a big heroin addict in the '70s.

@layla2450   Of course it is unhealthy to eat it year round on a weekly or monthly basis, but you do realize some people or I would say MOST people like to indulge to savory or sweet every once in awhile, especially at holidays or for special occassions with family/friend gatherings/parties. Don't you treat yourself at holidays to savory or sweet dishes? Who sits at a Thanskgiving or Christmas table and talks about calories and sodium, maybe 1% of the world population? I am sure you indulge in cake every year for your birthday, NO?

YAWN. LOL! WHERE did I say I discuss nuitrtion at Thanksgiving or Christmas?

I DON'T like sweets, and I don't eat sweets.

That's great you don't eat sweets but why put people here down who do buy food from Q now and then?

@QVCTVSpree   no beef for me, or pork, or organ meats. lol. But I do buy Alaskan, troll caught salmon and halibut. I don't begrudge others eating it, but not us. It's true about the some of the B vitamins found in beef that are excellent for you. I say moderation though. Even grass fed beef isn't always humanely raised. But there is great beef out there for those who enjoy

Re: Is QVC becoming The Food Channel?

I am not a fan either . Have tried a few items--most are gross and got my $$ back. But then the so called "cooking" channels don't actually  teach cooking ---for the education part of it at least--its more game shows. PBS has actual cooking shows. And a few--back in the early days--I was in my kitchen cooking with them. But having cooked for my brother for a few years--it is very expensive not only for the food , but the time and the planning, the shopping,  and the packaging. But have to say--my food was alot more healthy than what is on the Q---
