Gourmet Holiday almost daily?  It used to be something special to look forward to (even though I would not pay the exorbitant prices) but now it's on practically every day.  Just another food show, not special anymore.  Food must be a big seller for QVC.  Just my observation.

It used to be just around the hoildays as my memory recalls, hence the name "Gourmet Holiday". Now it is all the time, just as you mentioned.

Yep-Easter is coming so they are offering goodies and food of all sorts!!!

I think it has.  When I watch on line more often than not 3 of the 4 choices are selling food.  Very expensive food.

QVC will be whatever sells the best and makes them the most money.

that is generally the bottom line, especially these days.

It is not necessarily the food that is expensive. The cost includes express shipping to your door in a large styrofoam container filled with dry ice. That adds considerably to the price and, for many people and for various reasons, that convenience makes the cost acceptable. These consumers all likely know that the QVC price exceeds the typical grocery store cost. This has been posted by many others but "the high cost of Q food" frequently pops up in various posts and seems to have a life of its own. Your money, your choice.

No.  They actually cook on The Food Channel.

I have seen no real cooking on QVC (save for some Le Creuset presentations) in many, many, many years.

It seems like more and more food shows are on...so very expensive.  I have never bought nor will I ever...Mark up on the stuff is incredible.

The most unhealthy food you can buy. Processed, chemicals, fat, sugar and 

sodium. Bon appetite!

I agree there are a LOT of food presentations.  Personally, I feel they are a bit too pricey.  I've bought a few in the past and they were good, but I just don't feel like paying the high prices.
