After a few weeks where it actually looked like they were giving an occasional break, however meager, on shipping of some items, it looks like it's back to business (as in shipping as a profit center) as usual... I've backed out of several potential purchases in the last few days once shipping charges were added. You wonder if they'll ever get it that pretty much the same items can be gotten locally without paying inflated shipping...? And as for 'convenience', heck, many similar items can be had from other sites and they still ship for less. Sorry Q, but by the time you add almost ten bucks to ship a fifty dollar item then that item is really no longer a fifty dollar item... and that's especially a deal-breaker when it's clear the item probably costs you less than four bucks to ship.

I purchased a pair of black mid high Isaac Mizrahi boots in October and loved them and wearing them more than I thought so I decided to purchase another pair in the dark saddle, shipping cost in a few weeks difference went up 54 cents which increased my taxes as well. Can you imagine upping the taxes just a few cents and just how much money their haul in. When most places are giving you better deals, QVC is hiking up the deals.

While some sites do offer "free shipping," many require minimum purchases, a yearly fee, or build the costs of shipping into their base prices. Thinking that you are getting something for free actually causes you to spend even more.
Of you think QVC's shipping is overpriced, I challenger you to ship some of these items yourself to see if you can ship it for less. In many cases, you cannot. Plus, add in the cost of packaging, labor costs for someone to do the packing, insurance, and be able to not only make a profit but be able to cover shipping refunds on return items. Good luck!
Another day, another lecture from you. Back on ignore!

I wonder if the Q appreciates all his efforts to defend them, no matter what...?
