@avid shopper Me too. Most of them are on auto-pilot. It's very easy to just keep giving colors and repearting whatever they're hearing in their ear pieces.

I think it's a time filler too....after all....NO silence allowed...
Rick Domier was playing one of those video games last night, and when the vendor stopped her jabbering, there was a long period of no talking....which is a no-no!!!
ANyway.... I like watching David, and I wish he would take better care of himself too....He's a big guy, but there's a limit. Watch some older QVCtv videos on You Tube and you can really see the difference.
And before anyone lambasts me, I too struggled with and still struggle with my weight....just came in from snow shovelling Lake Erie off my driveway, which I do just for the exercise.
I set my little timer for one half hour and do my driveway til that thing rings. I have a long driveway and split up clearing it into three parts. I do have a snowblower, but until it's 6" or better, I hand shovel....REALLY good physical exercise!!!
I get my "Just 20 minutes a day three times a week" of exercise that way !
I dread getting out and doing it, but feel great once I start and when I'm done....like ALL exercise!!!!

I feel the host job is to PRESENT THE PRODUCT. Not give status updates. If a product sells out, it sells out. These tactics have annoyed me for a very long time.

Absolutely agree with your comments!!! I used to watch every one of David's shows, Now I rarely watch. His constant color and number updates are just too often. If it is supposed to be a good push sales tactic, I completely disagree...it is a huge turn off!!

If you've been watching any QVC shows in the past three weeks or so -- not just David's ITKWD -- all the hosts are now quoting numbers to tell viewers the total number of people shopping on the QVC website in that instant.
It's bizarre, and different from item sales of what's being sold in the show. It's a total number, for anything.
"There are 45,000 people shopping right now, at this very minute on QVC, for all sorts of things!" Now this is the quoted tally I really don't get at all.

What is there a limit on? Unless you have access to his medical records, you have no facts about his health.

I don't have a problem with numbers and color updates but hate it when hosts constantly interrupt vendors to give the sales update, Some hosts are especially bad about this and hardly let the vendor get a word in, and when host finally turns it over to vendor to explain the item, host will quickly interrupt vendor to tell us how many just "flew outta here". Very annoying when we're wanting to hear pertinent info about item being presented. They can at least wait till vendor is done telling important info about the product.

How come a person can't preview the items ahead of time for David's shows anymore? Even if everything wasn't shown, it created a little anticipation. Now they only show OLD previously aired items.
