Almost every time QVC tinkers with the forums, it's Chrome that goes wonky while Safari continues to work. I have gotten used to switching to Safari until they straighten out whatever they're doing and things eventually work in Chrome again.

 

Very odd that IT would recommend Chrome over Safari because it seems to be Chrome for iPad that gets screwed up by IT the most. Not to mention that Apple does their best to sabotage Chrome for iOS and make sure it never runs entirely smoothly, nothing to do with QVC.
