Has anyone thought about if some of us discontinue our purchases because of not being treated as equally as new customers what will become of these forums?

Will they continue if we're not discussing what's going on Q, what we bought, like or disliked, hosts, etc....especially if we're also no longer watching either?

@Shanus   At one time I wanted them to survive.  I don't care anymore after this.

I think that Qurate would make a very attractive takeover/acquisition candidate.

Buying them out of a Chapter 11 could be deliciously divine.

We should all sign on as new customers, using a different email.

@giova @Many of us do have more than one email address.  Not sure if this would work, if the same shipping address is used?

@september   If I cared to bother, I could send items to my offic, my DH's office or any neighbor.

I go back to it's the principle that new customers get perks and not the rest of us. No thanks. I don't want their products no matter where it's mailed.

@Shanus  - You said this on the 18th, but made a Barefoot Dreams purchase yesterday.  Guess you do want their products afterall.

@BalletBabe

I didn't know anything about this but I don't order a lot from the Q these days.  But I, like you, I have pretty much been with them since day one.  And back in the day, I had a Q card and ordered a lot - I mean a lot!  I am also retired, so I can't spend as freely as I used to, and I appreciate any extra offers that are given.  While I can understand giving free shipping to new customers as an incentive to bring them on board, I think giving them free shipping for 3 1/2 months is kind of unbelievable!  As you said, wouldn't it be a good thing to have another promotion and reward long-time customers in the same way?  This would given an indication that --- We appreciate your loyalty to us!

I guess I don’t see the big deal. There’s always different sales tactics that stores offer. Buy 2 items get the 2nd one half off...well I don’t want 2 I just want 1.  Get so much off if you sign up for a credit card. Well I don’t want their credit card. Everyone wants to draw in new customers so it seems like a good tactic. The Q offers free shipping on occasion to all and I haven’t even taken advantage of it lately.  Shop at your local stores! No shipping required or return shipping!

@San Antonio Gal  I understand your confusion. I stated here somewhere that there are certain items that I cannot find elsewhere and those would need to be purchased here.

I mentioned a few BD items, Isaac tees and NYDJ jeans (if on sale). I can purchase the jeans at Nord. Rack, so I can leave those off the list. If I find the specific Barefoot Dreams  and/or Isaac tees elsewhere, I will scratch them off as well.

I no longer wish to be a "regular customer" watching my recordings of shows, checking everything out online or being concerned w/ TSVs, etc.

Hope that clears this up for you and others.

Of course, that's always a deal breaker.Smiley Mad  I mean who wants to pay extra money on items?  Tax is already tacked on so there's that, but on top of that crazy shipping too?  That's why Amazon Prime is an ingenious business idea, they know people think twice about items if the shipping is too crazy.  They don't want you to hesitate at all when buying but crazy shipping prices will make you think twice.

I have news for you it’s the people that are complaining that probably have the money to spend. Not the other way around.

People with money have it for a reason. They are smart, and they keep as much in their bank account as possible. Even a $3.50 shipping charge.

If you don’t mind the shipping that’s great, but I only buy if it’s free shipping. I’ll keep my $3.50.
