Ive been looking at the comments on two postings I made recently, and for the life of me, why do some posters get their knickers in such knots?? Most of us respond, agree or disagree, but some people get so uptight, its quite unbelievable. ‘Get a life’, ‘nobody forces you to watch’, etc etc are common comments. I have thoughts on the shows, some good, some not, but apparently this aggravates some!
Its relaxing, fun too, to communicate with people across the country, and I believe, it helps lonely people, sick people, to feel more connected to the outside world.
So lets keep the forum fun, light, polite of course, but an exchange of ideas.
Here endeth the first lesson! LOL

@AJW I agree with you. This should be a friendly place and most of the time, it is.
i can also understand why some posters tell others to turn off the tv, don’t watch, etc.
It gets old and tiring when anyone hears the same complaints, weekly, daily and monthly for years. It is what it is and complaining isn’t making any differences.
I imagine when you have QVC on every minute you are awake, you will find some annoyances. Some people just get tired of hearing about it. It doesn’t make sense to watch something that annoys you.
It might be better to post what you do like about QVC, but that might crash the system or something. Who knows?
Anyway, I am greatful for the posters. I have learned a lot...and even changed my mind when I read someone else’ view and ideas that I never thought of.

It is what you say it is. If you get anything else out of it, it is before your enjoyment is abruptly cut off by the moderators ... then back to "all about me" AKA the Q.

QVC's FB wall is even worse and it's only about 5 posters who pounce on just about everyone who they disagree with, it's like they are trying to run QVC's FB wall. Very nasty senior citizens.

I don't like it when posters tell me how to react to a thread. Why do I have to make you feel good about your post.Evidently if someone does not agree, they are pegged as lonely, horrible people. As far as any kind of facebook, if you put it all out there you know people are going to jump on you.

The "get a life" comments are ironic because they clicked on the same subject line themselves! They're trying to act as if they have a life but are spending their time reading the same thread, too.

The moderators here seem to heavily censor the posts. It doesn't seem right. How can you have a discussion when only one point of view is allowed? It appears some are overly sensitive, and actually believe some of the hosts are friends. The hosts could care less who we are. They are little more than on air store clerks. Their job is to sell, and they will say anything to do the job. There is one host if you even type her name you'll get poofed. I don't understand it.

If this is what retirement is, it really stinks. Glad I’m working. Qvc 24/7 is no life.

I very much enjoy posting here. I don't understand a lot of the negative comments to people. There is one person I can think of that I have never seen post anything positive at all about QVC. Apparently she shops here frequently though. She certainly starts a lot of posts about QVC. For some reason no one ever calls her out about her negative posts, although they call out many others.
