My TIME has a big value.
I love most of the variety QVC sells and I can see the product in a video. I ALWAYS check the "click here" for the actual garment measurements (I compare with things I have that fit well with the same measurements) and I stick with brands that fit me well. So I almost never send items back.
I have learned I cannot buy shoes from QVC because there aren't actual measurements for them and that's what's been returned. I think QVC is a great value for me to shop when I want to, and not to drive and then find nothing in my size.

I have also stopped ordering clothing because of the sizing issues and the s&h the only thing I continue to buy are the swimsuits because I can't buy a swimsuit that 50 other people have had on

Why didn't you try on the clothes first?
Why didn't you check to see that I had made a change to my post to finish a sentence? It's true, every piece of clothing I've bought from QVC lately doesn't fit. Too large or too small.

I used to buy lots of casual tops from the Q and everything fit. Now, nothing fits. I've stopped buying b/c of the lack of quality control on the fitting. You can't count on anything fitting. And I'm so easy to fit.
The same with shoes: I could buy all brands previously and they fit. Now, nothing fits and even in the same brand, sizing is different. And there's nothing unusual about my 8M foot. I'm 5'4", 108 lbs. and an 8M shoe size. I've spent way more than I should have in shoe returns and clothing returns. I gave up....
What is the quote about doing the same thing and expecting different results is insanity? And the quote about fool me once, and you know the rest. 8)

After reading the comments on this post I know a lot of people have stopped ordering clothing for the same reasons, mainly sizing issues and cost of returns. I know that is why I have stopped purchasing clothing from Q. I still watch because I love fashion and I see the new trends but when I am tempted to hit the order button I remind myself of how many items I have had to return lately and the money I have spent on those returns. I now resist ordering any clothing. I know there are people who cannot get out to shop for good reasons, and then there are the compulsive shoppers, but anyone who has stores nearby and can get to them can get a much better value elsewhere. I also shop online at times, but only from sites with free return shipping. Money saved on returns pay for the gas to get to the store!!

So true, @Catch71. I love the convenience of seeing and shopping the show. I still watch the fashion, shoes, skin care shows, but I only buy what I am sure of.
My biggest temptation is shoes. After a few $12. to try on a pair that didn't fit, shoes just don't work for me anymore. Now I watch, and then buy perhaps online with free S&H.
They've manipulated the S&H and returns with raising the prices. Almost forcing one to look elsewhere.

I just had a similar experience with a pair of shoes - that $12 try on fee was a first and a last for me. I stopped buying clothing here a while ago. I'll only buy what I already know I'll like or what I've used in the past. No more clothing, purses or shoes for me. I have also found other online retailers that offer me "perks" like free shipping or discount coupons. At that point I may try a top or two and if it doesn't fit I take it to the post office and return it myself for about $2.00. I can live with that.

Well, I have the complete opposite opinion. I'd rather pay $40 for (1) stunning Isaac shirt than $40 for (4) shirts from a large box store that will fall apart/everyone on the sidewalk has. I love the uniquiness of everything from the Q. I want to step in a room and feel confident in the items I am wearing (clothing, beauty, shoes, accessories, etc), and the Q gives me that feeling. I don't have time to walk around a mall or botique store, so the Q has been my first source of shopping for a couple of years now. I also enjoy watching all of the hosts and learning about fashion and beauty and how to have fun with what I wear!

My Q purchases of clothing and shoes are way, way down. Fit issues, quality issues etc and then throw in the non refundable postage and the cost to return makes it a no brainier to shop elsewhere.

I think QVC needs to change it's name since quality, value and convenience isn't there anymore. My QVC shopping over the past several years has gone waaay down to maybe an order or two every eighteen months or so. I honestly still prefer going to the malls and looking around. I like to check things out or try them on before I buy. I know what I'm getting and won't have the inconvenience of packing something up to send back due to fit, poor quality or just not what I thought it would be. Plus, my favorite places have real sales and coupons. QVC wouldn't know what a sales was if it bit it on their a$$. I understand that some live where there's not a lot of choices or they aren't able to get out and it's their best option for shopping.
