I have atomic time wall clock

I didn't think they were suppose to change the time if your on DST till midnight. Mine changed at 7:30. I'm on Central time and go thru that twice a yr time change.

I'm in Amarillo, Tx and that place that has the national clock whatever U call it is located in Colorado. Maybe since I'm close to Colorado it changes faster ?

I bought 3 this yr. so I wouldn't have to climb on a 2 step stool to set them twice a yr. No Spring chicken.

It's got the right time for Sunday. Just wondered why it jumped the gun and changed the time so early ?

Re: I have atomic time wall clock

I guess no instruction booklet came with your clocks. They could have offered an explanation. Our cable box changes at 2am.

@SharkE The time changes officially at 2am, so your clock jumped the gun by even more hours than you realized.  Weird!

[ Edited ]

@SharkE I simply googled and it states

Consumer atomic clocks that receive a radio signal, like those from NIST's WWVB transmitter and will automatically adjust to or from DST. The clock changes when it receives the signal.

NIST is in Ft. Collins, Colorado.

My theory:

NIST is a government agency so they could be short staffed or shut down.

You could call them Monday and ask
