How does QVC handle returns disputes?

In your experience does QVC work with you if a return is in dispute?

I have not contacted them yet but I am expecting some issues. I returned some Barbara Bixby earings about 3 weeks ago using the Q return label. It still does not show on my order history that this item return has been processed.

I have shopped with the Q for over 20 years and have never ever had a return issue. I dread this.

I would contact them and let them know what happened so there is a record of this now. Not in 4 weeks from now.

Do you have a receipt from the mailing back?

I asked for one last week when I returned an item, and the item was received already.

I would call cs....but in the past i always found that it took much longer for a return to show up if it was jewelry...i don't know why...

Re: How does QVC handle returns disputes?

It is probably just delayed due to holiday shipping.

First, it can take up to a week for QVC's shipping partner to pick it up from the post office once you have mailed it, then they ship it back to QVC.  This time of year, with the warehouse focused on getting packages out, returns are probably not the highest priority.

Let customer service know via phone, e-mail, or posting in the CS board, and they should be able to look into it for you and notate your account.  You should not have any issues.

Does it take longer because they have to ensure the original gemstones are still there, i.e. not replaced with faux?  Just a guess, probably wrong.

@granddi, my experience has been if you did indeed use the QVC return label you will have no problems. Have you gone to your order online and clicked the "Track return" button to see if QVC has even received the item?

Re: How does QVC handle returns disputes?

I've never had a dissolute with a return to QVC. One time I returned an item and paid the postage. When the Q refunded me, they deducted the $6.95. I called CS and the lady said " yes, I see that you did." She immediately corrected it.

Ive always found QVC CS to be prompt in taking care of things. Mistakes can happen, and I always have found QVC to be fair.

I also think it's the time of year where everything can be slow or delayed. I would call and talk to them about it. It wouldn't hurt.

@granddi you should not have a problem if you used their return label, it gets scanned at each post office. Also, you may want to contact QVC Social here on the forum under Customer Care of your situation, they will look into it for you. That's one of the big reasons I still shop at the Q.

Re: How does QVC handle returns disputes?

@blackhole99  My issue is if you use their return label and the item returned is on e/p, your cost of using that label is often more than your first payment. For example: I returned an item that was on 6 e/p. First payment was $4.90 & already charged to my acct. The cost on the return label was $6.95. At the post office I could mail it myself for $3.00. Also if shipping charge to me is listed as $3, why does it cost more than that using their label to send it back? Hidden restock fees or maybe making up for lowering shipping charges on some items?

Thanks to all. The cost of the return is not an issue. I a  just getting a little antsey that the return has not been logged in yet. But I will notify cs soon.
