I don't feel the forum is 'dead,' it just has to function within strict rules of operation. This limits topics of discussion.

So, it wouldn't matter if we had many more posters, acceptable posts would still remain the same. Not dead, but maybe a little boring, and repetitive, to some.

Even with limitations, though, there still are very worthy topics from many valued contributors, with histories and experiences we can learn from. I have.

I only post if I'm really upset - like most people I don't have time to just sit here and make comments - otherwise I rarely look .  I think most people are like me. It's hardly a conspiracy!

You would have no way of knowing if 'most' people are like you....total assumption and speculation on your part.

You don't know the posters or what they choose to spend their time doing.

I post on many threads ...and are rarely upset.

The recipes especially on the Q boards are excellent and WORTH my time.

I have learned a lot of interesting and helpful info here.

I wonder if many of the new folks are actually existing member with a new member ID that are hesitant to make some of the comments that are being posted?
