@rms1954 No biggie. Many of my friends when speaking to us say "you guys". I'm 74 and it's not a big deal to SOME of us LOL.

@rms1954 As far as I remember all the years she's been on QVC she always addresses the audience as "you guys".

Never mentioned that it was a "big deal."  I hear it too, but my point was referencing the way she used it.

@rms1954  So what "way" did she use it that made you start a thread about it?  Clearly, it must've bothered you for some reason.

 

Would you be happier with her saying "You ladies" or "You gals"?

Where I'm from in the south, it's a generic for male and female. I use it often just like she does.

Lol, I'm from Baltimore and we always called each other "youz guys". Still do. Even my mom would say to her three daughters "are youz guys going out tonight"or hey guys...never was a thing and still isn't
