So, now, we are supposed to think that anything under $40 is a bargain!!!?!!

Yea, I'm not "buying" it.  I have heard some of the hosts recently say that prices have gone up everywhere.  No "duh!"

Most of what is sold on QVC is a want, not a need.  So they have a tough job to sell their stuff.

For me, I don't need a darn thing and am going to see how long I can go without ordering something.

I have been buying "essential "T-shirts jeans etc. if they are under $30 like crazy because I can see us going through about five more years of this with everything just out of sight!  All of their new merchandise is over $40 and by the time you add shipping and tax it's at $50!  And that is just for a T-shirt!

I've been shopping my Macy's and if an item is too high you can be sure it will be on a great sale within a few weeks tops. I have gotten great deals there.  QVC still thinks $5 off is phenomenal.  Not buying.

I buy what I want whether I need it or not but never impulse buy.  I do not want or need anyone nor will I let anyone sway me either way!!

@Gkhm  @misschristy  @Puppy Lips   Please feel free to turn off your TV and head up to Wal-Mart.  Nobody is forcing you to watch or buy

@Kachina624 No one said anyone was forcing us to watch or buy.  Where did that come from?  BTW, I can think of only one piece of clothing I have purchased at Walmart, and that was a rain jacket.  I will buy clothes for my grandkids at Walmart, but not for me.  No thanks.  Most QVC clothing is better quality than Walmart.

Folks, please, let's not turn this thread into a dispute.  @Gkhm  original post was simply stating an opinion about QVC using $40 as a magic number to push as the mark where a clothing item is a bargain. This is what their marketing people have come up with as a sales pitch and they are rolling with it. I think most of us understand that we all have our personal price point where we consider an item a bargain and that we can opt not to watch QVC and head off to Macy's, Marshall's, and other shops to try to find bargains in local stores.

@Trix   Thank you for saying this.  I hate it when posters who shall remain nameless start attacking other posters for just stating their opinion!  We all KNOW we can shop elsewhere!
