What does it mean when the grey symbol on the left of the title of a post is not colored in? It must mean something. I've tried to reply to a post two or three times - I'm not posting any links or anything else not allowed. After I click "post," the "success - you can now go to your post!" banner comes up on top. But when I try to access my post, I see it is not there. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? First time for this one! ![]()

If you are referring to the symbol that looks like a "speech bubble", if it's not colored in it means you have read posts in that thread. If it's solid, it means there are new posts you haven't read.
As for posting, and your post not showing up...
I had that same issue when they switched to the new Forum. I would type up my post, submit it, get the "success" message but the post wasn't there. But my post count kept going up like it was posted.
I contacted the @QVC Social Team several times about it and never heard back from them. I ended up having to change my nickname and now the posting works. I guess I'll never know what the problem is because QVC won't answer my emails.

Here's how I access my posts.
1. Click on "Community" in upper right of page
2. Click on "users"
3. Enter your user name in the search Forums and Blogs box (left of "users" box
4. Click on red "Go" button
5. You will see your user box
6. Right next to speech bubble, you will see your number of posts
7. Click on your number of posts and you will see all your posts in chronological order.
This is certainly not a user-friendly board when you have to go through all of that to see your posts. However, that is the only way that works for me. Good luck!!!

@beach-mom, I agree with @lainey1's description of the "speech bubbles." You'll see a gray arrow there if it's a thread to which you have responded.
I wasn't aware of anyone having problems adding a post. Do you actually click on the "Success" message to go directly to your reply? What happens when you do that? Can you try responding on this thread to see what happens?
(Sorry for all the questions -- the answers might help us figure this out.)

@lainey1, That's a shame that you can't get an email response. Maybe one of the moderators will see this thread and help out.

Hi Lainey1,
I don't believe we recieved that e-mail, can you resend to QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com? We'd be happy to look into it and see if we can assist. ![]()

I'm not sure beach-mom is experiencing the same thing I did, but it sounds like it. I would type up my post, click the "post" button and get the message "success, click here to see your post". When I clicked on the success button, it would take me to my posted message. I could see what I typed and it actually posted like normal.
But, if I came out of the thread and went back into it, my post was gone. I tried posting 6 different times on different threads and got the same results. The posts would disappear, however, my post count went up by 6 as if the posts actually posted.
I'm not sure if beach-mom is experiencing this same exact thing. If she is, she might not be able to post here to let us know.
Again, changing my nickname was the only thing that seemed to fix it because I couldn't get a response from the QVC Social Team.

Hi Beach-mom,
I am going to forward this along to the Community Team to make them aware of the issue and see if they have any ideas what might be going on here. If the problem persists, please feel free to send us an e-mail at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com ![]()

Thanks for replying to my post and bringing it to the attention of QVC.
In addition to my posting problem above, I also wanted to let them know by changing my nickname to lainey1, I noticed there is another member with the nickname of lainey1. If you do a search for lainey1, you will see 2 users with the name. The other member has 11 posts and was last on the board 6/10/15. The two nicknames look identical to me, i.e. all small letters, no spaces, etc.
I don't know how the system would allow me to use the same nickname someone else used because when I tried to change my nickname back to lainey, it said the nickname was already being used by another member. Yep, that would be me!
I see that Brittany-QVC has asked me to resend my email. Fingers crossed that someone will reply.

Thanks for your response. I know one of my emails (I sent 5) was received because I got a "canned" response suggesting how to change my nickname which didn't work. I'll try again and mention you asked me to resend it.![]()
ETA -- I just sent the entire string of emails....
