I wasn't aware of anyone having problems adding a post.  Do you actually click on the "Success" message to go directly to your reply?  What happens when you do that?  Can you try responding on this thread to see what happens?

(Sorry for all the questions -- the answers might help us figure this out.)

@dooBdoo

I'm not sure beach-mom is experiencing the same thing I did, but it sounds like it. I would type up my post, click the "post" button and get the message "success, click here to see your post". When I clicked on the success button, it would take me to my posted message. I could see what I typed and it actually posted like normal.

But, if I came out of the thread and went back into it, my post was gone. I tried posting 6 different times on different threads and got the same results.  The posts would disappear, however, my post count went up by 6 as if the posts actually posted.

I'm not sure if beach-mom is experiencing this same exact thing. If she is, she might not be able to post here to let us know.

Again, changing my nickname was the only thing that seemed to fix it because I couldn't get a response from the QVC Social Team.

When you go into a thread that you have previously read or posted on, it takes you to the first post after the last one that you had read, or posted (if you are logged in).  Have you tried scrolling up from this point?  I usually find my post one post up from where I land when I return to a thread this way.  Conversely, you can try going into the thread when you are not logged in, which will display all posts including your own. Unfortunately this can be very tedious wading through all of the previous posts you have already read.  You might want to make a note of the # of posts displaying on the thread before you post as it will give you an idea of where to look for your post.

Thank you everyone! It has only happened that one time. I quoted a poster (nothing controversial in the post), then tried to answer. After typing my reply, the yellow "success - go to your post" banner showed up. I clicked on that, as I have done many times, and nothing happened. I opened QVC forums in another window, and my post wasn't there. I tried this a number of times. There was nothing to indicate anything was wrong with my post. (?)

dooBdoo - thanks for the suggestion! I haven't tried this yet today, but I'm going to quote your post and see what happens. So - here I go!

What does it mean when the grey symbol on the left of the title of a post is not colored in? It must mean something. I've tried to reply to a post two or three times - I'm not posting any links or anything else not allowed. After I click "post," the "success - you can now go to your post!" banner comes up on top. But when I try to access my post, I see it is not there. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? First time for this one! Smiley Frustrated

@beach-mom, I agree with @lainey1's description of the "speech bubbles."  You'll see a gray arrow there if it's a thread to which you have responded.

So I'm quoting your post, and typing another line. Now I will try to post it and see.

As a follow-up, just wanted to let you know I NEVER heard back from QVC about my posting and nickname issues after resending my emails again.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Hi @lainey1

I am sorry to hear that. We definitely want to look into this for you, can you resend the e-mail today? I'll check the inbox and make sure that it gets seen. Also, can you tag me again when you've sent it? That way I can see if your e-mails are coming through.

Ok, I just resent the email titled Nickname Issue (Attn: Brittany) in the subject line.

I sent it to both QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com and Social.Team@qvc.com

Thank you again for your help with this.
