Re: Harry Slatkin's Homeworx Candles

@Teddixat   Me too!  I'm burning one as we speak and honesty, I don't smell anything other than a "wax" smell. This is my first experience with his product. Maybe I got a dud?  I will say this, the container is pretty.

Re: Harry Slatkin's Homeworx Candles

@Linda0215   some folks here claim they are overpowering.  I found them the opposite.  Mine burned for two hours and smelled nothing.  They smelled better when they weren't burning.  I returned 3 sets which were supposed to be gifts

@Snowpuppy   slatki's candles DO NOT have led wicks. They just are a disappointment when burning.  No scent whatsever

@Teddixat  Thank you for confirming that I'm not losing my mind. I was trying to convince myself that I smelled something. I'm almost positive it was the wax.  Oh well, like I said, it's a pretty container.

@Teddixat   Thank you!  I'll check them out. I'm no candle conneseur. I just want something that's pleasantly scented.

Re: Harry Slatkin's Homeworx Candles

Please let me clarify, since I'm the one who started this thread. I LOVE Harry Slatkin's Homeworx Candles. The scents that I've tried have been beautiful. The candles burn very evenly. And there is absolutely no soot in the air.
I just always assumed they were soy but recently discovered they're paraffin. Some people say that's bad. Some people say that's fine. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoy Homeworx candles.

I like his wife’s candles better from Nest. They are a bit pricey but well worth it to me.
