I would not be concerned about the host,they get paid very well.

@goldensrbest

Even with a good salary you hope that financial planning and budgets have been made.

We saw what happened to a QVC host let go a few years ago and not long after had a go fund me page.

Big news!   Very interesting restructuring.

I hope HSN can retain their own identity.

I cannot see HSN incorporating the whole Q50 Age of Possibility strategy.  They have always seemed a little more contemporary and rely much less on catchy taglines, and campy marketing strategies.

Overall, it makes sense.  I look forward to all the changes.

Hosts in their 60's and 70's probably have made good amounts of money over many years, no worries about them.  TV shopping is in it's last days.

Maybe if the company cuts this cost they can bring their prices in line with prices elsewhere.  I will not pay 40, 50, 60$ for t-shirts.  Seems the Q has become the bloated prices Kim Gravel network anyway.

As someone from St. Pete, this news makes me sad, although I’m surprised it hasn’t happened sooner. I worked for HSN in the late 80s during summer break (back in the days of “tootie” and when the phone reps were in the same auditorium as the on air show). It was a fun summer job. My mom loves to go to the hsn outlet in largo, and I imagine that and the qvc outlet in Brandon will be history too. Very sad.

Are these boards closing ?

Florida, HSN,  is closer to me then QVC. Didn't take as long to get stuff.

I would expect that some of the hosts will become "influencers" on social media!!

Wow, HSN has been on air before QVC. As an employee I wouldn't want to relocate from a warmer climate to the north. Lots of changes coming for the employees, not in a good way either. First ShopHQ now this!
