@They CallMe MRWILKES  I totally agree. However, I think many haven't read the actually legal suit.  They may have read info from other news sites, or are making assumptions on what they know. I wouldn't  even take Anthony's Facebook posting as the legal brief for facts.  In the actual suit, you can get just the facts. It seems there were contractual statutes broken. Among other things.   I personally would believe some of the points about abrupt firing. We did see the Q do that with Carolyn and Dan. I am looking forward to seeing this case played out in court.  facts, and legal statutes are what the case will be judged on ....hopefully.

Re Carolyn and Dan, don't know their detaiks, but a friend of mine was a talent agent in NYC making a large salary. She was fired as her $$$$ bookings had dropped over a year. They promoted her assistant much less money!

I'd say that HSN has the right to end their contracts with vendors, as they see fit.  (QVC, too).  Haven't we all seen many of our favorites stop selling at each of these sites?

I'm sure there were many people who bought Anthony's clothing, but I didn't ever see anything I would wear. Maybe if I went to church on Sundays at a church where ladies dress up....but I don't.

@september   I would read the actual court documents, not what people say or newspaper reports. Or how we feel. There are merits to this case. No attorney  would take a case without being sure they had a good case and woukd win. Most of these suits the attorney is paid, IF the client wins. I don't shop HSN, I haven't bought this vendors clothes. I just heard of the suit through a friend, and legal assistant and read the suit on a legal website.
it is true, everyone has their run, and a company has a right to hire who they wish. But they shoukd do it legally, and and not so underhanded.   But, we will see what happens.  There a couple of items listed in his suit I think have merit.  But I m not a judge md jury. No cats in this fight, lol!

@shoekitty    Will probably check this out when I can...but I don't  agree that attorneys  only take on suits that have merit.  If only that were true!

@september   well, that is true.  Attorneys can, and sometimes will take any case.  More high powered ones tend to take cases that they can win. Especially if that case can win them some kudos.   But I think in most sue cases like Anthony ,an attorney woukd want to make sure he had a fighting chance, so he could get paid. But it depends.

He has such a fan base, I’m shocked. But I stopped buying years ago because I just hated the poly fabrics, just made me sweat so bad. Clothing lines start working on their collections a year in advance, I wonder if anything was made before this termination. Good memories of the shows and he has such pride in his work. So affordable for many.
