Here we go again! Late Nite Gifts, Gift Ideas, Shawn’s Favorites, Kirsten’s Favorites.....Certainly QVC has proven they have quite an assortment of jewelry, skincare, pillows, epilators, hats w/ flashlights, wallets to protect credit cards....

Can these shows not somehow be grouped together and titled as such? I will not DVR or watch 3-4 hours of throws, lace tanks, chocolate coated apples and vacuum cleaners  all mixed together.

Re: HOURS OF MIXED GIFT IDEAS

@Shanus I like the mixups better than the full hours of an item..at least that way there might be something that interests me.I guess Q can not make us all happy at any given time.

Re: HOURS OF MIXED GIFT IDEAS

I guess I prefer the mixed gift shows over a full hour of a Dyson or a bed or electronic device. I have QVC on most of the time....mostly for background noise. With all of the craziness on Reality shows and news programs, I like the fact that QVC doesn’t have drama, crying, fighting, etc. and they don’t have to bleep out every other word. 😊

I also prefer the variety shows (if I'm actually watching, of course).

@Shanus Not my favorite either. They are a reincarnation of the old Q Sampler. They will show the same products over and over, regardless of who presents, with the TSV thrown in these shows from now till Christmas. Antonella had flashlights today...we are doomed.

Off topic but she looked 10 years younger with her modern hairstyle today; just lovely.

Re: HOURS OF MIXED GIFT IDEAS

If I gave any of these 'gifts' for Christmas....I'd get the same kind of stares my brother gets when he buys his gifts at the gas station.

Re: HOURS OF MIXED GIFT IDEAS

Never watched one of them. In fact since they began CIJ and continued with Christmas shows, I watch very little. I don't care to see Christmas six months out of the year. Cha ching for me and others but not three hour shows watching an awful hodge podge of stuff I wouldn't buy anyone for Christmas.

@Shanus I'm with you. If I see "gift show" in the title w/o any other identifying info, I simply don't watch.  I can check online for specific items and skip listening to all the blathering about products I am not interested in.

Imagine two hours of just flashlights! Ones that bend, twist, are magnetized and come in a variety of colors, boxed for stocking stuffing. (Actually I did buy the Halo one and it's terrific.)

@Johnnyeager  That’s my point...gladly skip the shows labeled flashlights, My Pillow, etc. Four hours of a parade of gadgets and PooPourri and maybe just 1 item of interest is not a great marketing idea to get customers to watch/purchase this time of year. It’s a “yawn”!
