I think I figured out why Q turns me off and I don't watch anymore. They hard sell each item for too long. Move one to the next item.
If I'm in a store, I don't need reasons where to wear a garment or a 15 minute explanation of the fabric or fit. In fact, I prefer to shop alone and decide if I like something by myself. It's relaxing and most of all not annoying and on repeat.
They may do better financially if they didn't copy the infomercial format. All that's missing is the "We'll double you order and take off one payment and give you free shipping. If you order in the next 15 minutes, we'll include a free bamboo steamer and a set of steak knives".

If a brand is presented so often, they need to have multiple vendors like Isaac, KG and SG, it's time to turn the channel.

I've thought about the length of the presentations too, Shamus - do you think they are attempting too fill the hours since the items are so limited and presentations need to be repetitious? I enjoyed the faster moving presentations, not sure how others might feel about that though, folks might enjoy the chit-chat and longer presentations.

They claim to have thousands upon thousands of items that are never aired. Why not?
Show more items in an hour and cut the chit chat. I know that isn't their new "format" and won't happen.
If I want to search for items online, I will go where there is free shipping and real free returns.

I think the more they talk the more someone is apt to buy. Not everyone as we see here, but the majority.
They plant all kinds of subliminal messages. Hoping one will resonate with the shopper.
Sales require psychological manipulation.

QVC is no longer a "shopping" channel but a pseudo "entertainment/talk show." Count me out.

@Shanus Absolutely yes! Especially the TSV's. Those presentations are brutally long. Back in the good old days, an item was presented, and then they moved on. There were no long diatribes about their families, their travels, etc. Same vendors, too few items presented in an hour show. When you go back and look at items previously aired, there aren't that many they show in an hours time. They talk too long.

Yes, the TSV presentations are so many and ridiculously long as previously stated, and especially so when it's a pricy item like the Dyson vacuum yesterday.
