Mama Mia QVC, I think we've seen this thing enough! Just how many do you have in stock?? Talk about non creative items being repeated over and over and over again. Stale programming!

24 hours of enduring fake dead batteries and watching vendor Sarah take her power naps (closes her eyes when talks). Oy Vey.

For another POV - I didn't buy the Bolt when it was first presented back in December, though I thought about it. Someone else in the household did buy one.

Our home has been without power 4 days and counting. The Bolt charged my phone & iPhone both. I bought one from the hotel room where I'm forced to stay since I don't have power after nearly 5 days. I want that puppy and I'm glad they're still offering it.

Id like to know if it really works or not. There are lots of bad reviews under the product saying it did not charge their car and some saying it barely charged things in the house. HOWEVER, there are also good reviews from people who say it charged their vehicles and saved the day (as well as doing all they say it does).

I think it must be like any mass-produced (in the tens of thousands) item from China - a small percentage will be duds. If I got a dud I'd send it back and try for another at least once. Ours works, though doubt we'll ever need it for jump-starting. And it's not that big, not that heavy, and reasonably attractive for what it does.

@Moonchilde Did you manage to get a room on a lower floor? I believe it was you wanting to change rooms? How much longer do you anticipate being there? Are meals available?

I purchased another brand from QVC and it worked like a charm. My unit is much larger than the HALO TSV.

YES IT worked for me 2 weeks ago 2x....1st week, had dead battery and needed to get to O'Reillys auto store...put it on with no help in sight.....car turned over saved the day...a week later while driving  my alternator was powering down, pulled over car died...hooked up to HALO it gave enough charge to get home....I feel safe knowing it's there.

The only question I'd be asking myself if I were programming QVC is "Can we sell enough of (XYZ) again to make the airtime pay?"

As someone who almost never buys the first time I see something, who just last week ordered 2 different TSV's during their final presentations of the day, who still thinks about buying a Vitamix every time it airs, I get why a company sells the same products over and over.  It's sort of like supermarkets always selling bread and milk even though they are both just boring -  people buy them.

I don't have a Halo or anything like it, but the day I collapsed in a deli and ended up in the emergency room overnight with a dead cell phone should have taught me a lesson.  Can't do it today, but maybe next time it's on.  It will be, won't it?

@Shorty2U - I wanted to let you know that it has worked for my daughter and me.  I have charged my cell phone and tablet with it.  And, my daughter had a dead battery one morning and she used her HALO -- it worked.  It was a lot easier that jumper cables.

Remember all the non-stop presenations and TSVs of the HALO portable phone chargers?  They beat that product right into the ground and now you never see those presented anymore and they aren't a TSV every other month either.

The same will happen with this thing.  FTLOG they just had this as a TSV in December.  I wonder if this was really planned as a TSV or if QVC decided to take advantage of the bad weather we keep hearing about.
