this site is getting like FB I now see "Google ads" for everything from senior daily deals/coupons to Bob Hope disc collections... it's at the bottom of the page when I sign onto Community Boards!

Im on my laptop and I am not seeing any ads other than Q's pop up for the Christmas Sweepstakes........and normal Q website stuff......

Is this on a phone that your seeing the ads???? Or on a laptop, PC, or tablet.  If your getting ads on a PC or Tablet you may have picked up adware from some website while browsing.....you can run a free program called MALWAREBYTES to check and remore any adware or malware. (google it and it will come up to download).....use the free one unless you want to upgrade to premium. quick and easy to install and it just scans your electronics to get rid of ads..........

If these are on your phone perhaps someone can direct you to an APP that would work to get rid of the ads on that device (Im not that knowledgeable when it comes to smartphones.....

That started quite a while ago, how did you escape it for this long?
Fortunately I dont see them on the forum, just the regular QVC website. And if I use the app for that there are no Google ads.

thank you yes they are on the home page for Q - just realized this.

Although I thought they showed up when I was scanning the forums - but not logged in.

I believe I'm pretty safe from any viruses as all my devices are Apple.  All the years I've had them never had "pop ups", etc.

I HATE the google ads on qvc.com.  It is annoying as heck and so extremely tacky.  PLEASE, QVC, drop it.  I am shopping on QVC, expect to pay for my purchases.  I do not intend to go to another website in the midst of my shopping search, and I hate the distraction.

I have an Android phone and dont get ads or popups on my Q APP..........

And my Internet Security Software that I use on all my devices has an Anti-Banner feature which helps block those ads..............

I have spent almost 2 hours trying to get rid of these pop-up ads.  It is so frustrating! I had no idea others were also getting them.  PLEASE - Q - get rid of these. They don't belong on this site - and they discourage us from shopping here.

@Spurt, I have an Android phone too and have no issues with ads.  I also use an Android tablet as well as an HP laptop, no ads on any of them.
