Yes, too much repetition.
And recently while they were presenting something for the umpteenth time I began just scouting around the QVC inventory on my phone app, searching items at random. I happened to find QVC carries Surgeon's Skin Secret. WOW! I was gifted a twist-up stick of this 15+ years ago and loved it, but never saw it in any stores. I've been watching QVC for years, but have NEVER seen anything from this line presented. I wondered why, and what other treasures I'm going to find that are never presented on air.
But I have my Lavender SSS now, so at least I'm ready for winter.

I tune in for the merchandise, not the life stories of certain hosts. QVC should realize we tune in to purchase their merchandise. There are some people who enjoy listening to where and what the "hosts" have done, but not the majority. I could care less where Shawn has been. I have to watch her segments because she seems to hosts the shows that have the merchandise I like. Sick of listening to her talk about herself instead of the actual product. I do turn the volume down, so I do not here her life accounts.

I originally got the six package of SSS. I've got three left. It's just perfect to roll on your feet. So easy and effective.

I do enjoy a holiday decor show so decided to tune into the Friday show with Jill. Apparently the anticipated merchandise did not arrive and now these shows are focused on gifts, which is just another name for presenting the same products pushed in other shows that day, like slippers and Dyson. A quick check online of items presented shows the same cycle of vendors throughout any given day.
And this got me to thinking about product diversity and its link to the use of vendor reps for nearly every product or designer line. QVC rarely used vendor reps when they started and hosts did most of the presentations alone. Didn't matter what item was shown so we were always seeing something different. Once the vendors became regular guests they had to make it worth their while to show up, so the vendors make multiple appearances throughout the day. And with that strategy, product diversity was gone. They just play games with the show titles, but in reality they are mostly the former "QVC Sampler" shows now called "Holidays with _____" or "Host Gift Picks." And the same lineup and vendors are repeated. That's my theory on lack of product diversity and why I generally skip viewing and check the program guide for products shown.

yep, I agree... No one is professional anymore... Gone are the days of Kathy Levine, and Lisa Mason, Bob Bowersox... just to name a few...
The only ones that are still good are Jill Bauer, Jane Treacy, Pat James Dementri, Dan Wheeler & Mary Beth Roe...
I used to love David Venable, but he's gone a bit loco...lol
The only newer hosts I like are Amy Stran and Sandra Bennett, and Sharon and Kerstin are pretty good...
I want to like Albany, but I feel she tries too hard to be a "Southern Diva" lol, her little "sayings" get a little annoying after hearing them 10 times over in a segment...
Not a fan of Shawn K at all, I feel she's too unprofessional and kind of just there to have fun on camera and make friends with the guests...Can't handle watching Antonella, Stacey, or Courtney...
I just think any hosts under 40 aren't what the customers want to buy from... And, I don't think anyone under 30-35 really spends much time watching or purchasing anything from QVC...
I STILL WATCH AND PURCHASE ALOT FROM QVC, and I will commend the customer service staff who are ALWAYS respectful and very helpful... I don't mean to sound harsh, but in my defense, I don't like change, but I also don't care for the non-committal, non-professional direction the host staff on this station is heading.
Whew, so glad I could finally get that off my chest...lol

Their TSV's used to be something special. I still check to see what they're offering daily and am mostly disappointed. HSN offers more interesting daily specials, better prices on them. At least they make something "special" about them. Unlike the Q. Awful TSV's.
I used to have to curb myself on TSV's, reminding myself I couldn't indulge EVERY day.
The Q has a chance daily to create excitement and enthusiasm, while offering a bargain, which they've just seemed to not care a whit about anymore. If they don't care, I can find other places to spend my money....

Just my 2 cents -- I don't like seeing Christmas trees and decor, and pushing holiday gifts, in October and earlier. I'm already sick of Christmas. Guess I'm an old fuddy-duddy, but to me, Christmas comes after Thanksgiving. I understand that the shopping channels need to start earlier than that, shipping and all..... but from July on? I flipped over to Q once this morning and first thing I saw was a Christmas tree. Couldn't change the channel fast enough!

I agree that it is the same products over and over. I've found over the years at Christmas it is the same products featured on the Christmas shows for 3 months. I quit watching this time of year.
